Receiving the Holy Spirit

There is a chorus that goes “All over the world the Spirit is moving”. I say Amen to that.

Brendan and I are just back from a mission to Slovakia. We were well received in the Conference and other small groups we were invited to.

Brendan majored on teaching on how to receive the Holy Spirit with speaking in the language God gives. He says if it was good enough for Mary, Jesus mother and Peter and the other apostles why not receive like they did. It’s a big shock for some to know that Mary spoke in tongues. I majored on deliverance and healing.

The Holy Spirit fell at Pentecost to give the disciples Power to be witnesses for Jesus. The church was born.

The devil has power. He said to Jesus in the wilderness when he took Jesus to a high place “If you bow down and worship me I will give you all these kingdoms. ” Jesus replied you must worship God alone so get out of here.

When Jesus was crucified on the cross and died He defeated Satan. He broke the power of death and hell and sin to save the whole world from the power of Satan. People don’t know they are under the power of Satan if they don’t believe and obey Jesus.

Jesus told his mother, family and his disciples to wait in Jerusalem to receive power from on high. The Holy Spirit came and gave them power to cast out demons, heal the sick and raise the dead.

The Holy Spirit is described in Ezekiel 47 and Revelation 22 as the river that flows from the temple. Wherever the water flows everything shall live. There will be no curse. Salty water becomes fresh with fish living in it. Trees grow on each side of the river bearing fruit. The leaves do not wither but are for healing the nations.

If you want to live, be healed, bear fruit and catch fish get planted beside the river of God and let your roots grow deep. Pray in the Spirit at all times and you will not sin or get sick and you can do the work Jesus gave you to do.

Your work may be being a father, a mother, a schoolgirl or boy, farmer, pensioner, doctor, lawyer, servant etc. You will have power to do it well.

Where have the Seeds Gone

I was eating a sweet red apple today. It was a bit strange to see no seeds in the apple.Brendan eats grapes with his breakfast every morning. I buy white grapes, red grapes, dark purple grapes from the supermarket of green grocer. They come from different countries, Spain, or South America, all imported for us the customers. The grapes don’t have any seeds. Our plants are being genetically modified by scientists in order to produce fruit without seeds.  I thought how man is getting away from God’s way for our lives.

I read in the first page of the Bible, the Word of God in Chapter 1 v 11,
Then God said, Let the land produce vegetation; seed bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds. And it was so. The land produced vegetation; plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God said it was good.

There is new life in the seed. If it is planted in the soil it changes and becomes a plant, bearing shoots, leaves, flowers and fruit. The purpose of the seed is to increase and produce more plants like the parent plant that produced the seed. The seed is produced after pollen the male part of the plant fertilises the ovary of the plant. Scientists study the natural world. They study the matter that is already living. They cannot make life. They cannot make a seed. They can manipulate what is already living but they cannot make life.

God breathed life into Adam and Eve. They were the first human beings on the earth. God blessed them and told them to increase and multiply. Not only did God create plants to increase, God creates animals and humans to increase. God’s plan is increase and multiplication for all life. Scientists are having their influence on the earth to change creation to stop increase. They have invented drugs that prevent women having children, They have invented drugs to prevent plants having seeds. This is not what God intended.

God is good all the time.  Our God is revealed through the Bible.  He is the God of the Jews. His guidelines on how to live were given to Moses from God.  Jesus came into the world to show us the Father.  Jesus said he is the way, the truth and the life.  He gives life.  It is the devil who brings death and steals and destroys. God has good plans for all he has made. If only we would trust Him.  He is our Father and he knows best how we should live. We have no excuse to say there is no God.  God’s power is demonstrated every day we see the sun rising in the sky. The heavens declare the glory of the God. No other God created us. No other God is so merciful.  If we seek Him we will find him.  Cry out to God today.  He is there and he will save you.

Not only does God promise to care for us on earth, He promises us that we can live with him for ever in heaven if we believe in his son Jesus.  There is an afterlife.  We don’t get a second chance at life after we die.  We choose now whether we live in heaven or hell after this life on Earth.  Choose Jesus, the way to heaven.  The devil wants to bring people to hell.

New Vaccine 2020

Everyone is rejoicing at the news of a vaccine for Covid. They are looking to man for a cure. I believe that Jesus Christ the Son of God is the Healer of all diseases. I have trusted God to be my healer and my children’s healer. When my children were young my dad said, “Why are your children not sick in the winter time.”

I trust God to heal. God healed me from fourth stage cancer. What is a small virus before the name and the Blood of Jesus.

There is nothing new under the sun. Back thirty years ago, I did research into the MMR vaccine. I discovered that material from aborted foetus was used in the research for that vaccine. I refused to have my children inoculated then. They have not suffered for not receiving that vaccine.

I do not take the flu vaccine. I have heard from friends that they believe their children and elderly parents suffered ill effects after taking these vaccines. I did not let my daughter take an injection that is given to teenagers at school. One doesn’t know the side effects of young girls having to take this injection.

I see from other people’s research updates that unborn baby tissue is being used again in the Covid vaccine. I am abhorred at infants being aborted. I am appalled that tissue from the dead bodies of infants is used for research. I’m happy to use a vaccine as long it has not be developed using foetal tissue.

People please check out about vaccines. Don’t be afraid to ask Jesus to heal you and trust him for your healing. Read about Jesus in the book of the Bible. He went about doing good and healing all those oppressed of the devil. Jesus broke the power of death and hell when He died on the cross. By His stripes I am healed. I believe. He is worthy to be trusted. What He did for me He can do for you. And He freely gives. No expense. No fear. No control.

There are plenty of advertisements for cures for different conditions. Loose weight, eat vegetables, take tablets: try this therapy: all costing you money.

There is one healer, Jesus. He freely gives.

It’s Good to Remember.

I wasn’t that interested in history at school. I did not have any favor with the history teacher. I have since learned the importance of learning about the past.

My favourite history book is the Bible. I love reading it. It tells the history of mankind. Man is created in God’s image. God gave us guidelines on how to live together. He gave marriage for man and women to enjoy. He gave marriage for children to be born and raised with parents to care for them. It tells the genealogy of one family in particular, Abraham’s family, covering many hundreds of years till the coming of one of his descendants, Jesus Christ.

It is a love story. It shows the care and kindness of God who looked after mankind. He blessed Abraham’s descendants even though they didn’t always thank or appreciate Him. Yet He forgave them and waited patiently till they responded to His love.

It is a thriller. The Bible records battles and wars. Men going to fight their enemies. The good news is when the people fought God’s battles they always won because God was with them. Joshua and the tribes of Israel always defeated their enemies when they followed God’s guidance. None of David’s soldiers died in battle. They always won their wars.

Today we remember the men and women who died in the First and Second World Wars. Many millions died from the nations. They died in the fight against evil.

On Sunday I was listening to an interview with two Jewish men who live in Ireland. My son was listening with me. He was not aware of what happened to ordinary families during the war; families like his own. Young men like him went to fight in the war.

I told my son that people in Europe were living at ease before the world war. They were enjoying prosperity, music, theatre, eating and drinking. They did not honor God or care for the poor and needy. Sounds a familiar scenario of our society today. . Revolution occurred in Russian and Germany. Leaders rose up and controlled their countries killing many of their own people who didn’t agree with them.

Telling the story of the Holocaust of six millions Jews and others who were killed during the Second World War helps one realise what evil mankind can do. Many millions of Christians and soldiers died in the war. It’s good to remember today the people who have lived and died before us for us to enjoy freedom

My generation was born after the Second World War. I did not have to suffer the hardships of people who lived during those years. I did not know that part of history. We have lived at ease. We have had good health care, plenty of food and clothing, good housing and free education. We have had it so good. We have become selfish. We don’t want to make any sacrifices.

Another holocaust is happening in our prosperous nations today. The law allows developing human beings to be killed in the womb. The innocent are being sacrificed instead of the parents making sacrifices to have their young. This is the new evil one needs to fight against.

Let us learn from history the consequences of war, hatred and selfishness. Let us do good to others who need help. Let us fight our spiritual enemies. We are sure of victory if we fight The Lord’s battles like David and Joshua did.

The Redeemed’s Story

“Let the redeemed of the LORD tell their story—
those he redeemed from the hand of the foe,”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭107:2‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Though my blogs on WordPress I write stories of what The Lord has done for me in my life. I was in despair and feeling hopeless. I developed cancer and was near death. My family and friends cried unto The Lord for me and God saved me from death and delivered me from the growing tumour. The doctors couldn’t explain how the cancer disappeared.

The Lord is the God who made the heavens and the earth and all that dwell therein. No matter what nation you are from God made it all. I live in Ireland, a country on the edge of Europe surrounded by water. We in Ireland have a heritage of Faith in The Almighty that extends back 2000 years. Sea travellers brought the news of Jesus to these shores in the first century AD. We have stories of the redeemed in Ireland that have been handed down through writings or stories told in families from generation to generation. The Irish are renowned as great story tellers.

The Irish travelled by sea to Scotland, England and into the heart of Europe via their rivers. They brought their stories and simple way of life to the nations in Europe. St Coulumbanus is buried in Italy. Another monk is remembered in Switzerland. The Irish went to Slovakia, where my son and his family now live. They told their stories of how they were redeemed from the hand of their foes.

The Lord saved me from the grip of Satan who was bringing me to death because of my sins of rebellion and bitterness. Jesus died on the cross, shed his blood and broke the power of the prince of this world over mankind. He provided a way of escape from those held in darkness by the blinder of people’s lives. I called on Jesus to save me from death. I received his power to be delivered from death. I’m alive.

Psalm 107 describes my situation.

Some became fools through their rebellious ways and suffered affliction because of their iniquities.
They loathed all food and drew near the gates of death.
Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress.
He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave.
Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭107:2, 17-21‬ ‭NIV‬‬

No matter what ones situation or whatever nation you belong to, call on the name of Jesus. Many young people are suffering despair and are suicidal because of war, poverty and disappointment in the nations. God will hear and act on your behalf. His word promises to help the poor and needy.

““The poor and needy search for water, but there is none;
their tongues are parched with thirst.
But I the LORD will answer them;
I the God of Israel, will not forsake them.
I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys.
I will turn the desert into pools of water, and the parched ground into springs.
I will put in the desert the cedar and the acacia, the myrtle and the olive.
I will set junipers in the wasteland, the fir and the cypress together,
so that people may see and know, may consider and understand,
that the hand of the LORD has done this,
that the Holy One of Israel has created it.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭41:17-20‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The water refers to the Holy Spirit whom God will send as we call on his name. He will work the miracle needed for you.  What he has done for me, he can do for you.  God bless you today.

Abortion

Here in Ireland, the beauty of creation is all around me. The sun is high in the sky during the day giving warmth and brightness, inviting us to enjoy outdoors. The odd shower of rain brings a colourful rainbow between the rain clouds and the light. There is a big moon in the sky at night. It’s draw causes Strangford Lough to fill up at high tide. The light from the moon reflects off the still water.

I am reading in Psalm 139 this morning.
“Oh Lord you have examined my heart and know everything about me.
To you the night shines as bright as day,
Darkness ad light are both alike to you.” V 1 and 12
Our creator God keeps all of nature going by his power. The sun or moon are not falling out of the sky. God is faithful. This same God promises me in Psalm 68 v 19 that he loads us with benefits every morning. Just imagine his kindness and care and things working out in our lives daily. His mercies are new every morning. God is speaking to me through the birds that are beginning their song on this the longest day of the year in Ireland. He cares for the birds will he not care for us.

The mighty God who created the sun and the moon created us in our mother’s womb. I read further in Psalm 139 v 13, 15 and 16.
“You made all my delicate inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
You saw me before I was born.”

Someone sent me an article from rightoflife.org that 10 pregnancies over twenty weeks are terminated in the mothers’ wombs per week in England. A child can live outside the womb at twenty weeks! The baby in the womb is killed with an lethal injection into the heart.

The Word of God clearly states in Psalm 139 that God knits the baby together in its mother’s womb. He creates life. There is a thief who comes to rob, kill and destroy, John 10 v 10 says. The thief is the devil who is behind the destruction of the unborn in these days. When war broke out earlier this century men gave their lives to defeat the evil that was rising to take over Europe. Six million Jews were exterminated in the holocaust. Today there is a silent holocaust of babies across the world.

Perhaps the young woman doesn’t know the seriousness of having an abortion because her boyfriend says it’s okay, her family says it’s okay, the doctors say it’s okay and one’s government says it’s okay. She doesn’t know the truth that God created the baby in the womb and it’s against God’s laws to take life.

The same God provided a Saviour to forgive us when we break the law and sin. Jesus said to the thief on the cross, “Forgive him for he knows not what he is doing.”
Northern Ireland is one of the safest places on the earth for the unborn. Northern Ireland was a safe place for Brendan and I to have the fourteen children God gave us. When I was expecting my 11th child the consultant suggested I may have a Down’s Syndrome child. He would have offered me a termination if I was frightened. I declared to him that God gave me this baby and He will bring him forth safely. I changed consultants.

Brendan and I had fourteen children because we believe God gives life and children are a blessing from God.

From Ireland missionaries went all over the world to bring the gospel including the new world which is the USA and Canada. Sadly now Ireland’s government is giving money to to nations to promote abortion.

Despite the holocaust and bad news there is hope. The same Jesus who died and rose from the dead is still willing to forgive sin and deliver one from the power of the devil. Ask for his forgiveness and he will freely pardon and renew hope for this life and the life hereafter. Remember Jesus said to the thief on the cross, today you will be with me in Paradise.

Prophesy being Fulfilled.

This morning I awoke to see London burning. A block of flats, 24 levels, were burning after six hours and could be seen a long distance away. Flames were gushing out windows.
Yesterday I was reading a prophesy from a lady from Bangor Northern Ireland. I tried to look for it this morning on Facebook but couldn’t find it.
She saw a picture of London Burning. She said there will be fires all over Great Britain and Northern Ireland. This will be a sign of revival these areas.

Seven years healed of Cancer

“Can anyone heal me of cancer?” I cried when I was diagnosed with malignant cancer.

It will be seven years this Easter Monday since I was diagnosed with Fourth Stage Bowel Cancer. Four months later the Doctor gave me a letter to declare the nine inch tumour in my colon was gone, “a clean bill of health.” I am healed in the name of Jesus. I am like the woman who touched the hem of Jesus garment in Jerusalem 2000 years ago.

Jesus walked through the towns and villages of Israel. He helped those who came to him because God gave him power to cast out demons and heal the sick. He annoyed the religious leaders and rulers of the day because the people followed him. He became a threat to their authority. They planned to kill him.

Jesus willingly faced death.

Judas, one of Jesus’ disciples, shared the last supper with him but after, betrayed him to the leaders. They arrested Jesus and condemned him to death. He was abandoned and alone. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter yet he didn’t open his mouth. He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and familiar with suffering.

The guards mocked him and pierced his head with a crown of thorns, calling him King. They spat on him and crushed the crown of thorns deeper into his head with a staff. His blood flowed down his face and garment. He was pierced for my transgressions. For he bore my sin and made intercession for me. He took the anguish, guilt, fear and despair in my head on his.

They took him and opened up his back with thirty nine lashes from a leather leaded whip. By his wounds I am healed.

He carried a heavy wooden cross to Golgatha. Traces of blood left a trail on the ground. It was poured out for many. Jesus turned to women who were nearby and said “Don’t weep for me but weep for yourselves and your children.” These words echo down through the centuries to me as I pray for my children.

The soldiers hammered nails into Jesus hands and feet and crucified him with two others. He gave up his spirt saying “It is finished.” A soldier came and pierced Jesus side with a spear , bringing a sudden flow of water and blood. They will look on the one that has pierced. He poured his life unto death and was numbered with transgressors.

“At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life.
When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed, “Surely he was the Son of God!””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭27:51-52, 54‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Easter is celebrated next Sunday throughout the nations. Why is it remembered every year? It is a tradition that has been handed down through generations because Jesus told his disciples to remember his death.

“For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lordʼs death until he comes.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭11:23-26‬ ‭NIV‬‬

This week I am celebrating that Jesus is alive and he has caused me to stay alive. His is the only grave that is empty. It is there in Jerusalem for all to see. He arose from the grave. He appeared to his disciples and showed them his hands and his feet. “Touch me. A ghost does not have flesh and bones.” After, he was taken up into heaven. There he is seated as he prophesied, “From now on the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of Almighty God.”

Jesus commissioned his disciples to do the same things he did while he was on earth, forgive sins and heal the sick, using the power of his name, Jesus. Now he can reach to the ends of the earth to forgive sin and heal diseases by his spirit.

I know there is power in the blood that Jesus shed through his suffering. I plead the Blood of Jesus over me and it protects me from all harm.

May The Lord Jesus open your eyes to recognise Jesus in the breaking of Bread and drinking of the Wine this Easter. May he open your mind to understand the Scriptures.

“Can anyone heal me of cancer” I said seven years ago. I thought God wasn’t listening. He heard my cry and today I am healed.

Words in Italics are from Isaiah 53.

Christmas Shopping

image“So then, since Christ suffered physical pain, you must arm yourselves with the same attitude he had, and be ready to suffer, too. For if you have suffered physically for Christ, you have finished with sin.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭4:1‬ ‭NLT‬‬

We remember Jesus birth at this time.  A time of joy, to thank God the Father for making himself know through his son Jesus, who was conceived in Mary’s womb and born in an animals’ home.
God our Father’s plan was to redeem mankind from the power of sin, death and the devil, who kept mankind separated from God and prevented them from going to heaven.  The devil stole the authority over all the earth and all living creatures, from Adam.  Jesus is the new Adam.

Jesus grew up in his family and lived humbly helping his parents.  He would have helped with the other children, just as my older children did when they were growing up.  His father was a carpenter.  He did not have a high school or university education.  When he was thirty years old he entered his public ministry.  For three years he went about doing good, healing and delivering all who were oppressed of the devil. He was bringing down the power of the devil, who was keeping people in darkness, believing lies, living in oppression and sickness.  Jesus is the truth.

He was the son of God.  He could have set up a kingdom here on earth and ruled and ordered people what to do.  Instead he allowed himself to be arrested and accused of curing people on the day of rest, working miracles and claiming to be the son of God.  His accusers were jealous of him.  They had to get rid of him before everyone started following him and upsetting the kingdoms that were ruling at that time, including Romans and Jews.

His own people the Jews wanted him crucified.  “Away with him” they said.  Jesus never opened his mouth when he was whipped by soldiers, a crown of thorns hammered into his head, nails pierced into his hands and feet to nail him to a cross and when a sword opened up his side.  He hung on a cross till he breathed his last.  He suffered and died.  He became the perfect sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins.  There is no forgiveness of sins without the shedding of blood.

A leader from India told us recently how people sacrifice their children in the fire or in the river, or cut themselves in order to get their sins forgiven.  Even after such pain they find no relief from their guilt.  This man told some of these people, “Jesus has forgiven my sins.”  I’m not guilty any more.  They were surprised.  “What sacrifice did you make.”  “How much money did you pay.”
He said, “I believe in Jesus.  He was the sacrifice for my sins.  He died in my place.  He shed his blood for me.  This is good news.  You too can know your sins forgiven by believing in Jesus.”
One woman said “Why did you not come sooner, before I gave my child to the God of the river.”  She was heartbroken.  She was prayed for and Jesus healed her.

“ But if you do sin, there is someone to plead for you before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who please God completely.. He is the sacrifice for our sins—and not only our sins but the sins of all the world.”

‭‭1 John‬ ‭2:1-2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

What a wonderful privilege we in the west have to hear the name of Jesus.  We have good health care and good education.  Freedom to work, get married, have children, and live in peace in our homes and neighbourhoods.  But sadly many of us no longer know the power of the name of Jesus or the power of his shed blood or acknowledge, thank or honor him in our lives.   We have forgotten what Christmas really means.

We were travelling home from Dublin airport leaving at five pm yesterday evening.  The road out of Dublin was packed with cars.  On coming near Belfast the roads were packed with cars.  Why is this?   I have travelled at the same time earlier in the year and there were no holdups or roads full of cars.  Ah, people are out Christmas shopping!

Are they shopping for their children who are expecting Santa Clause to leave them some gifts?  Are they shopping for food and drink for fear the shops might run out of provisions nearer Christmas?  How can parents exhaust themselves and get into debt to buy presents for their children who think some mythical being drops them gifts down the chimney?  Are the father’s involved with the shopping, or is it just the mothers?  The children never thank them or appreciate the stress involved.  Why do they continue the lie of Santa Clause?

Do the refugees get presents?   Do the poor people of Africa or India get presents.  Does Santa just come to America and Europe and bless those who already have plenty.  I have asked myself this even when I was young.

Where does Jesus come in our celebration of Christmas?  “Joy to the World” the Christmas cards proclaim.   Brendan and I deleted Santa Clause out of our family when we had four children.  We told them the truth.  If we tell our children about Santa and years later realize there is no Santa, what will they think of mum and dad.  “They told us lies.”  We tell our children the good news that is at the heart of Christmas.  God sent the gift of his Son to us.  Jesus came to take away the sins of the whole world and the give the gift of eternal life.  We can be with him forever in heaven.  We tell them about the other gifts God has for us, the gifts of the Holy Spirit, the gift of children, the gift of life itself.

Many people did not agree with us, including family, friends and teachers.  The headmistress asked us to stop our children telling the other children there was no Santa.  Our children did not miss out on gifts.  We saved up and brought our children on summer holidays instead.  I refuse to get caught up in the hype of Christmas.  It does not satisfy!!!

I now live in the hope of going to heaven when I die.  I want to tell others this good news and tell them what Jesus has done for them.   God rescued me from an early death when he healed me of Malignant cancer.  I choose to follow him.  He is returning to the earth soon.  I want to be prepared.  I want to be of use in the years I have left.  I find comfort from this scripture,

“So then, since Christ suffered physical pain, you must arm yourselves with the same attitude he had, and be ready to suffer, too. For if you have suffered physically for Christ, you have finished with sin.”

‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭4:1‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Praise Flows out of Love

Everyone flourishes under praise.  When I was spoon feeding my grandchild this evening I congratulated her on each spoonful she accepted, chewed and swallowed.  Before we knew she had the whole bowlful finished.  My son was able to enjoy his dinner while I looked after Ava.  Normally she would help herself.  Dinner would be spread all around the table and on the floor.  Dinner time was a delight and peaceful without having to persuade Ava to finish her dinner.  No one cared about the mess.  What we did enjoy was our meal together at grand dad’s house.

Our two sons and their families are visiting from Canada.  We are getting together for our son Patrick’s wedding next week.  I am alive to celebrate my son’s wedding and to enjoy my sons visiting from Canada.

When I praise my husband he doesn’t know what hit him.  A light turns on and he would do anything for me.  But sadly I forget too often to thank or praise him.  Recently a friend was praising me for my work and it was very humbling to accept her thanks and approval.  Often one is negative instead of appreciating what a friend, daughter or son does, or value their worth.  I am often guilty of seeing what someone doesn’t do instead of praising them for who he or she is.

I think praise for someone comes out of a heart of love.  I have experienced the love of my family and friends when I was healed from Fourth stage bowel cancer.  They prayed to the One whom they believed and hoped would bring my healing.  I thank and value the help of doctors but they  admit they can treat cancer but do not offer a complete cure.  The One is Jesus.  When he was on earth he went about healing all those with diseases.

I have come to experience God’s complete healing from this deadly disease in my life.  He’s a God who answers prayer.

I am completely indebted to God for my life.  I now find it easy to thank and praise God every day and I want to tell others what a wonderful God he is.  Expressing praise in words and song from the heart to God brings an intimacy with the One who loves me.

“Great is the Lord, and most worthy of praise.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭48:1‬ ‭NIV‬‬

He returns his peace and love to me.  I am safe in his care where no enemy can touch me.  Other peoples’s negative words roll off me like water off a bird’s waterproof feathers.  When I am in difficult situations I am not afraid.   From this safe position I can value and praise others rather than express my frustration and negativity.

My heart has been changed by knowing God’s love and praise for me.  He values me.  Jesus lifted me up from the pit of despair, depression, disease, fear and death.  He said he can set me free because he died on the cross 2000 years ago to forgive my wrongdoing, to heal my disease and give me life and a hope and a future.  He conquered death by his own death on the cross.  We don’t have to die prematurely.  God promises three score and ten years of life.

“Our days may come to seventy years, or eighty, if our strength endures; yet the best of them are but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭90:10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

I am now living in that future, a future of restoration, life, peace and love.  He is a God to be trusted and given praise.
