Lady Healed of Cancer has a Baby Boy

Here is a testimony about what the living God has done for a family in Slovakia.

I was invited to speak about having fourteen children and how God healed me of Cancer to children in a school in Trnava, Slovakia. The children were aged from fourteen years to eighteen years old.

It was a bit formidable at first standing before a crowd of children and their teachers. I remembered that over the years I had to interact with my own teenage boys and girls just like the audience before me.

When I told them I had fourteen children I got their attention. I went on to tell them about my family, my children just like them, praying for me to be healed of cancer. Jesus said to pray to the Father in his name and the Father would answer their prayers.

“Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. (‭John‬ ‭16‬:‭23‬ NIV)

I encouraged them to help and pray for their parents just like my children did for me. I blessed the school children and gave them a copy of my book Staying Alive.

Six young people stayed behind and asked me to pray for them. One of the young ladies began to cry. She told me her mother was going into hospital the next day for an operation for Cancer. I prayed for her mother and asked the Father in Jesus name to heal her just as he had healed me.

Two months later I received an email from the young lady. She told me her mother was pregnant and the doctors could not believe it. When one has cancer and undergoes treatment one of the side effects is infertility. The doctors warned her there could be abnormality with the child. A healthy strong baby boy was born some months later.

The mother went for tests to check for cancer later. She got the all clear. The doctors were amazed. This mother is enjoying life with her new baby boy. Jesus promises to give us life and give it more abundantly.

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (‭John‬ ‭10‬:‭10‬ KJV)

I tell this story to give Glory to God who is healing people today. Jesus, when he was on Earth healed people of all diseases. As God has comforted me and my family, he wants to do the same for others.

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; (‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬ KJV)
who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. (‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭4‬ NIV)

People often ask why I quote the scriptures. I believe the scriptures are the inspired word of God and I repeat what God says. I give testiment to the fulfilment of what God has said. His word promises that he will answer our prayers to heal and he does. It is not in my power this lady was healed. It was through the power of the name of Jesus.

What God, the Creator of the Universe has done for me and this lady from Trnava, he can do for you.

Why Am I Healed of Fourth Stage Cancer

Dear Readers,

I was challenged yesterday when some one said to me “Many people are prayed for and they are not healed.” This fact is distressing and causes one to think, “Why bother praying when it does no good.” When one prays for healing and it doesn’t happen then one’s hopes are dashed. One feels like giving up.

My hopes were dashed many years ago when I had been praying over promises God had given me and it seemed God didn’t hear. I prayed for unity with my husband, unity with other believers, unity with my family, and over many other dreams I had. The more I prayed the more I felt alone and misunderstood instead of being accepted and included. I fell into depression. I didn’t care if I died. I gave up the fight to believe God in the face of despair. I developed fourth stage cancer.

Others prayed for me when they heard I had cancer. The people I felt in disunity with prayed for me, my husband, family and other believers. God heard the prayers of many and I am healed completely.

It was not because I was a good person, I am healed. I had many sins in my heart. I am healed to demonstrate the power of the name of Jesus and the power of Jesus Blood shed on the cross to save and to heal. It was brought about by the believing prayers of others in the Body of Christ. God had mercy on me. We have an all powerful God, the only God who is kind and merciful and does not treat as our sins deserve.

My husband wrote a book about my healing, called Staying Alive. Someone said to me “Why are you writing a book about your healing? Sure many people are healed and they don’t talk about it or even write a book about it.”Or another said “Who do you think you are praying? Leave that to the priests and ministers!”

The reason I heard someone say to me that many people are prayed for and are not healed is because we hear stories about those who weren’t healed. People are not speaking up and telling about being healed by God.

I am speaking up. I had to overcome my own fear of telling my story, afraid of what people may think. I overcome Satan by the word of my testimony and I love not my life unto death.

I will continue to tell of God’s love, mercy and compassion to heal. If you haven’t had an answer to your prayers don’t give up. Don’t loose hope. God’s Word tells us stories about perseverance. A widow wanted justice from a judge . She pestered him till he finally gave in because she was annoying him. A neighbour asked his neighbour for bread late at night. He was in bed and didn’t want to answer. But because the neighbour kept knocking the man got up and gave him bread.

How much kinder is our Heavenly Father. God wants us to believe and wrestle with him till we see the answers. Don’t dwell on what has not worked out. Meditate on stories of faith and God’s answered prayer. Give thanks for what God has already done and praise him for what he Is going to do for you.

I want to share stories of healing. If you have been healed by God tell others. Feel free to tell me about your healing! Thank you for reading.

You Will Never Thirst Again

Where am I?

You can find me on Google map. We had someone visit us recently. Before she came she checked out our address on google map . When she arrived she kept looking up at a neighbour’s chimney. She said where is the tree? On google map she had noticed a small sapling growing out of a chimney. You’ll be pleased to say it was removed earlier in the year. The whole chimney had to be dismantled and rebuilt at great expense to the owner.

Back to this morning. I having coffee in my local Cafe Nero’s. Outside the window two lorries parked up. Men unloaded disbatches of boxes of alcohol to the neighbouring shop, an off licence. Plenty of bottles of wine, cans of larger and spirits. The shop is restocking its supplies for the holiday weekend.

Many people are thirsty. Will the alcoholic drinks quench their thirst? No they don’t. Next day one can awake and be thirsty again. Jesus said to the woman at the well He would give her water she would never thirst again. What is this water?

The Holy Spirit is the water Jesus promised. Believe in Jesus and receive this water that will quench your thirsty soul. The water will bring healing, restoration, refreshing and new life. It doesn’t bring a hangover or pain or guilt.

What is so special about this weekend. Do you know? To me it is very special. I am reminded of the One who came from heaven to live and show me that God is my Father. He died for me on the cross, rose from the dead and sent the Holy Spirit to help me and comfort me and lead me into truth. He raised me from nearly dying of cancer and I am alive.

Read The Scriptures

Good morning everyone,

Near or far, east or west, north or south, old or young, family or friend, fair or dark, native or immigrant, welcome to my page.

I want to share with you something I read this week from Matthew 22 in the Bible.

The Pharisees and Sadducees, the religious of the day tried to trick Jesus with their questions.

The multitude who heard him were astonished at his doctrine. So much so that no one asked him any more questions. Jesus silenced them.

One example stood out for me. They asked Jesus whose wife will a woman be in heaven who had married seven brothers on earth.

Jesus replied You are in error. You don’t know the scriptures or the power of God.

Are we all guilty of being in error? Do we read the scriptures regularly, even every day?

I cannot emphasise the importance of reading the scriptures. You will know the truth and the truth will set you free.

I started to read the Bible regularly forty two years ago. I was a housewife looking after my family. It is became bread for my soul. It is the Word of God. Who is the Word of God? Jesus is. He is present with me as I read.

After many years of reading the scriptures I believe and have seen the power of God. I was able to draw on the truth of God’s Word that by the stripes of Jesus I am healed when I had fourth stage cancer. I am free from cancer. I am sure of this promise that I now pray for people to be healed.

Start reading the Bible today. You will become wise and you will live and be renewed by the power of God.

Jesus Gives You Life Abundantly

I celebrated my seventieth birthday on Sunday. It was the the warmest day of this year in Northern Ireland so far. It was an ideal day to be outside. The sun was shining. There was no chilling wind. Everyone, children and adults felt comfortable sitting, eating, playing or walking outside.

Due to travel restrictions some of my family could not be there. Those who live in Ireland came with their families.

I am blessed having a big family. A party can be arranged at short notice. If I invite my family we have a crowd. Jesus said in his word I have come to give you life and life abundantly.

John 10v10

The thief comes only to kill and steal and destroy. I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.

I can testify that Jesus has done that for me. By believing in his word, his miracles, his resurrection from the dead and the power of His death by shedding his blood I am alive and living abundantly on the earth.

Who is the thief? He is the evil one, Satan who wants to destroy what God has done. He puts thoughts in our minds to hassle us, make us fearful, distress us, and sends disease. Jesus work is always to destroy the work of the devil.

The disciples were in the upper room behind closed doors. They were fearful of the religious leaders who had recently killed Jesus. Jesus appeared to them in the room and spoke peace to them. Who else has ever appeared through locked doors or thick walls?

Through the use of cameras nowadays we can see on screens people flying through the air and many other illusions. But it is not real. It is only an image. No other man has done the miracles Jesus did when he was on earth and before he went to heaven.

Jesus has worked miracles for me and has defeated the work of the devil in my life. He wanted to kill and destroy me. Jesus healed me from a disabling disease, Rheumatic Fever as a child, healed my broken bones and delivered me from fourth stage cancer.

I am alive and writing these stories today, to help you to continue to believe in Jesus. Many circumstances in our life on the earth comes to discourage and wear us down. The recent COVID disease, lockdown and isolation has caused pain and loss. Perhaps you need new hope. Jesus is still working among his people. So don’t give up hope. Continue to believe in Jesus . Like the disciples he will come to you today to speak peace. In the name of Jesus I speak peace to you. Call upon the name of Jesus today and He will help you. Amen.

Day Trip in Northern Ireland Series

Hurrah. Lockdown has eased in Northern Ireland. Shops are open and people can dine out again in Belfast.

Brendan and I were going on a Mystery Tour with Our daughter, Ruth. Mary Black’s songs were seranading us as we headed north out of Belfast.

Brendan and I were singing a different song eleven years ago as we went to the hospital to have a test to check for cancer. “Because he lives I can face tomorrow”. The Cherry Blossom trees at the entrance were in full bloom.

Today eleven years on Cherry Blossom Trees are in full glory in the sunshine. They seemed to line our journey today, waving from gardens and hedgerows. Scripture says the trees of the field will clap their hands as we go out with joy. Yes I have joy after those sad days of cancer eleven years ago. I am healed by the power of the name of Jesus.

Our first stop was Ballyronan, a caravan and woodland park on the shores of Lough Neagh, the largest lake in the British Isles. Plenty of wildlife flourish here. We saw two healthy herons up ahead on the walkway. Whopper swans and ducks come here from Iceland. Chaffinches and sparrows sang overhead in the Ash tree branches. Although we didn’t see any, there is a good population of bats and owls.

Our next stop was where the River Blackwater joins the Lough Neagh. We lingered there in the stillness. A kingfisher flew over the water and disappeared in a flash.

Time for lunch. We headed towards Ardboe. At a crossroads not far away was a small building with a sign outside saying

High Cow Bagels, Drive Through. Coffee.

Brendan said “Let’s stop here. This guy has a sense of humour.” High Cow is the English translation of Ardboe. Ard means High and Bo means Cow.

I asked the Chef, “Is there any cow on the menu.” We chatted back and forth and had a good laugh. I told him I was healed of cancer. He was happy to receive some of my books.

Ruth looked at the menu.

High Cow Classic, High Cow Melt, The Cowboy Melt, High Cow Big Breakfast and much more. We enjoyed a unique tasty lunch, coffee and a High Cow Classic Bagel al fresco. The chef was a bundle of fun and the food was five star. I’d definitely go back again.

You never know what you may find when you leave the motorway and go on the roads less traveled.

My Daughter Mary

Today is a special day of celebration for the Mc Cauley family. Mary received a Consultant post in Medicine.

She had an interview before a panel of eight professionals for the post of a Consultant this afternoon. I encouraged her. Surely all the years of education, dedication and sacrifice will come through for you on the day. Her hands have been a safe pair of hands to receive many new born babies from their mothers’ wombs whether by natural birth or by Caesarian.

Later this evening she received a phone call to tell her she was successful. She is now a Consultant Obstetrician, specialising in Maternal Multimorbity. Congratulations Mary.

It doesn’t seem all that long ago when Mary got a toy stethescope for Christmas. She listened in to other’s heartbeat. At the age of nine a prophet came to stay with us. His name is John Paul Jackson. He spoke into all the children’s lives then. He prophesied that Mary would do Medicine and Research.

Mary passed all her school exams and was accepted to do Medicine at Aberdeen University. She spent one year out of the six years there doing research.

John Paul Jackson was visiting Aberdeen. Mary saw a notice about him speaking at a local church. She remembered him staying with us. This is ten years on. Mary attended the meeting. John Paul picked her out again and prophesied into her life to encourage her. Later on he asked if she was Brendan Mc Cauley’s daughter. He asked her what did he prophesy to her back then. She said you prophesied I would do Medicine and Research. He asked what are you doing here. She told him she was doing Medicine and Research.

Mary’s faith in God took off after this divine encounter. She knows and believes prophetic words are very important. Those words many years before helped her when the going got tough.

I did not realise that it takes many years of training to qualify to be a Consultant. She has her own story to tell of her own difficulties to get to today. I’m very proud of my daughter. She is faithful to God. He has been with her through many trials and temptations.

I especially want to thank Mary for her support to me before, during and after my journey with fourth stage cancer. She continues to be a blessing to all of her family.

Pinky my Dressing Gown

There is an item of clothing that is very important to me. When I get up in the morning the first thing I reach for is my dressing gown. I was often so tired after feeding a baby through the night I eeked out the last few minutes before I got up to get the children out to school.

While rearing a big family, there was no time to get washed and dressed first before everyone else was up. There was always a rush to get using the bathroom in the morning with so many children. I helped the younger children get ready. A wipe with a facecloth and hair brushed was sufficient to look respectable for school.

I have lived in big, older houses so the air can be chilly first thing in the morning. I like to wrap up tightly before I go to make a cup of tea. The kitchen can be the coolest part of the house unless one has the luxury of an AGA cooker. My dressing gown helped me keep warm tied tightly around my waist.

I have had different dressing gowns over the years but I’ve had two favourite ones. A friend bought me a new dressing gown for going to hospital to have my daughter Mary forty years ago. It was full length, made of silk like material, navy in colour with flowers printed around the bottom. I had it for many years. I felt quite glamorous in it. When we were in Kerry one year I mistakenly left it behind. I regretted losing that dressing gown. I wasn’t able to find another one like it since.

Ten years ago when I was diagnosed with cancer, my daughter bought me a dark pink gown made of towel fabric. I suit pink and it felt very warm and comfortable to wear. I’ve worn it these last years. I call it Pinky.

No children to get out to school now. I enjoy my garden on a sunny morning still in my dressing gown inspecting the new growth of spring time. I would be out there for hours unmindful of the time passing. I better get dressed.

My husband would be particular about what I wear. If he didn’t like something I was wearing he would soon let me know. He never commented on either of these dressing gowns. He bought me a sheepskin pair of slippers. When I saw them first I told him they are what grannies wear. I didn’t think I would wear them. In my home they are my constant footwear, so warm and soft on my feet. Pinky and the granny slippers have been a comfort to me in the cold nights and mornings.

I am often awake through the night. Sure enough my favourite dressing gown would keep me warm in my night watches. I did most of my blogging at night, prayed or worked on my mosaics. I would be caught up for hours in my workshop. Later in the morning I could be found still pottering about my kitchen, baking or cooking into the late morning still with my dressing gown on.

During the last two months Brendan and I have moved house. Initially it was quite daunting to start packing up. Two of my daughters helped during the Christmas holidays pack up some kitchen ware. Mary helped me with some of my clothes and other items in my bedroom. She was strict with me. Do you wear this? Have you worn this item this last year.? Yes I am guilty I had many dresses that were hanging in my wardrobe that hadn’t been worn for a long time. I did succumb to my daughters wishes to get rid of many items., less packing.  In the following weeks I packed clothes, books, jewellery that I didn’t want to get lost in the general afray of un named boxes.

The time came nearer to the final leaving date. Two other daughters came to help pack. I was glad of their help and I left them to make decisions.  I was trying to adjust to the change that was on the horizon for me. Leaving a large home with a beautiful view over Strangford Lough. I didn’t have the energy to do much packing. They did a thorough work giving up their time to help us move.

A big blessing for me was Ruth finding a ring that my husband bought for me while I was on holiday in Egypt many years ago. It was made of silver with fourteen dark stones on it, representing all my children. I thought I had lost it fifteen years ago. It meant so much to me, and I missed it. No matter what the girls did in the move after that I forgave because they found this precious piece of jewellery in a desk cabinet.

One of the casualties of the move was my pink dressing gown. It was discarded with other worn clothes. Another daughter has tried to replace Pinky with other dressing gowns she bought for me a few years back. One made me look like a polar bear. I dreaded to wear it in front of Brendan. Another was a dark full length satin gown which wasn’t comfortable around my waist. I went back to good old faithful Pinky.

It had been with me through cancer, when I was writing me book and in the night when I would be working on my mosaics.

When I spent my first night in my new home Pinky was not at hand to keep me warm in the morning. We were separated. I had left the rest of the packing to my girls to finish. Pinky became a casualty of the move. My daughters thought Its time for Mum to get a new dressing gown! Like my other favourite gown I can’t find another one like Pinky.

My girls and I joke about it. All is forgiven because Ruth found my favoite ring that I thought was lost forever. I now wear the ring on a string around my neck. I can carry my children close to my heart.

I now seek to wear a different garment , one the Lord wants me to wear.

“You are chosen by God for this new life of love, so dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline. Be even-tempered, content with second place, quick to forgive an offense. Forgive as quickly and completely as the Master forgave you. And regardless of what else you put on, wear love. It’s your basic, all-purpose garment. Never be without it.”(Col 3:12,13). And where will you find that on the “High Street”?

Eleven Years Healed of Cancer

It was Easter Monday eleven years ago that I went to the local hospital’s Accident and Emergency. I wasn’t feeling well. On examination the doctor suspected cancer in my bowel. It was confirmed weeks later after tests and scans that I had a nine inch cancer tumour in my bowel. It was beginning to invade the walls of my bowel and spread locally.

The panel of cancer specialists suggested a course of treatment to reduce the tumour in preparation for an operation to remove the cancerous area. I started five weeks of chemotherapy and five weeks of the maximum dose of radiotherapy.
When the treatment was completed I had no side effects from the treatment; no hair lose, no burning of my skin or internal organs where the radiotherapy was targeted. Six weeks later the doctor called me to arrange surgery to remove the cancerous tumour.

Many people were praying for me since I was diagnosed with cancer, my husband , family and friends. I believe I was healed after prayer. I felt like the woman who touched the hem of Jesus garment and was healed of an issue of blood. She felt better immediately.

I told the doctor I believed I was healed. My husband agreed. The doctor thought I was crazy. This had never happened before in his thirty years experience. A colonoscopy was arranged. The camera showed there was no tumour in my bowel. The lining of my bowel was as clear as a baby’s skin.

I remain healed and alive after eleven years. I have not taken any medication since. I believe the cancer will not come back. My husband and I have written a book, Staying Alive, detailing my healing. It is available to purchase on BOOKS.IE It is not within my own power or effort that I am alive. It is through the power of God that I am healed and alive.

This weekend we celebrate Easter. Everyone is glad to have holidays off school and work. But do we really know the meaning of Easter?

Nearly two thousand years ago Jesus was born. He was the Son of God yet he came on earth and was born to Mary. He grew up in his Jewish family and lived like any other child in the rough and tumble of family life.

At the age of thirty he started his ministry. People came to him to be healed of diseases and he healed them all. He cast out demons that were troubling many. He delivered the demoniac who was living among tombs, of two thousand demons.

Jesus chose twelve disciples and taught them to do what he was doing. He gave them power to heal the sick and cast out demons. He even told his followers to do the same in Mark 16. Jesus gives us the same power today to heal others and cast out demons. The religious leaders and kings of the day did not like what Jesus was doing. He was a threat to them. They planned to execute Jesus by crucifiction.

We remember this week, Holy Week in many parts of the world, those sad days long ago when Jesus was betrayed, accused, scourged and crucified. Blood flowed down his head his hands and feet and side. The blood which flowed was shed for us to forgive our sins and to heal our diseases. They thought they got rid of their trouble maker. But no. Jesus rose from the grave. He appeared to his disciples and then went to heaven.

I believe in Jesus. I believe he shed his blood to heal me and forgive my sins. Isaiah 53 says He was bruised for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquity and by his stripes we are healed. I know the power of the Blood of Jesus that healed me in 2010. He continues to help me and keep me alive to testify to his power to heal. 2021 years on Jesus still heals.

Take time this week to seek the true meaning of the feast of Easter. Enquire, search and seek. I did so forty odd years ago. I know Jesus is true. I know his power in my life. Not only does God promise to forgive us and heal us, he promises to take us to heaven when we die if we continue to believe in him.

Jesus when he was on earth taught about hell. There is an after life where all men will be judged. Those who follow Jesus will go to heaven and others will go to hell which was prepared for the devil and his demons. Chose eternal life today. Believe in Jesus the Son of God.

Dare to believe in Jesus. Ask him for His help. He will surely answer.
