The Helper

Good morning all.  Brendan was reading this passage today.  It is very appropriate as we head into Holy Week.  All over the world Easter is celebrated.  May the Holy Spirit move all over the world this year 2022.  

 John 14 v 15 

If you love me, you will obey my commandments. I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, who will stay with you forever. He is the Spirit, who reveals the truth about God. The world cannot receive him, because it cannot see him or know him. But you know him, because he remains with you and is in you.

“Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. My Father will love those who love me; I too will love them and reveal myself to them.”

Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, “Lord, how can it be that you will reveal yourself to us and not to the world?”

Jesus answered him, “Those who love me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and my Father and I will come to them and live with them. Those who do not love me do not obey my teaching. And the teaching you have heard is not mine, but comes from the Father, who sent me.

“I have told you this while I am still with you. The Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and make you remember all that I have told you.

Jesus was talking to his disciples at his last supper with them.  

The Holy Spirit that Jesus promised has come to the earth.  He has come to every believer in Jesus.  He teaches us the truth about Jesus.  The Holy Spirit will make us remember all he has told us.  He wants us to obey Jesus teaching.  

If you have experienced the Holy Spirit in your life in the past this post is for you.  Perhaps you have  not continued to obey Jesus commands to love God and love one another.  God gave Moses ten commandments for the people of Israel.  Jesus didn’t come to make Moses commandments useless.  They are condensed in this one command that Jesus gave. 

I hear some Christians say,  “I’m an adult. I have choices.” A Christian does not have his own choices.  Is his lifestyle one of obeying Jesus.  He needs to obey Jesus.  

Come back to God today .  Return.  The devil has trapped you on your journey with Jesus.  He is holding you captive  through sin.  Release yourself and ask Jesus help.  

The devil stops people receiving the Holy Spirit.  If you do receive Him the devil will come to make you doubt and not continue to believe.   We have had two years of not meeting together.  Our souls have become dry.  One can feel like giving up.  Today is a new day   Like Paul said to Timothy stir up the gift within you.  Pray in the Spirit again snd don’t let the devil stop you.  Resist him and he will flee from you in Jesus name.  

Do a check list. Look back and remember when did you heart grow cold? Return to God . Jesus healed everyone who asked him when He was on earth. Ask today for healing. He is the same yesterday and forever. Ask for The Holy Spirit. God will not give you a snake or a st

Testimony of Restoration

Good morning everyone,

I am very encouraged this morning to see this post on Facebook . Helen joined Brendan and I on one of our weekend Gatherings in Corrymeela. She believes In Jesus for His forgiveness, his healing and restoration. Jesus paid it all by His shed Blood.

Helen believes and receives. She receives the prophetic. He receives the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. She receives the prophetic reward. This message is her testimony . We overcome Satan by the word of our testimony and we love not our lives unto death.

God freely gives us good gifts that Jesus paid the price for through His death on the cross and shedding His blood. I encourage you to believe and receive as Helen did .
Receive. God is your Father. Receive his presents and his presence today.

Moment of Transparancy
Some 4 years ago this prodigal returned back to her Fathers house , truth be told i was broken !

I had this picture in my head of my life and it was like a shattered mirror , smashed and totally fragmented , my dreams and hopes shattered into a million pieces , so hurt and rejected , a daughter of the king who was living as a pauper ! After ten years and dressed in rags battered n torn I made my way back home..

My healing and recovery began, the great healer began to put the pieces of my life back together again . The word tells us that those that sow in tears shall reap in joy 🙌🏻 , that mourning lasts for a night but joy comes in the morning !

This morning I was given the most precious of gifts handmade by Angela McCauley 💕🙌🏻 I believe it to be prophetic 🙌🏻 a picture made from broken glass , the fragments all making the most beautiful picture of restoration . To me this is so perfect , It represents myself and my three sons , my wee family to me it promises healing , wholeness , for The Lord said he knows the plans he has for us and I like the kjv for this as it speaks of an expected end 💕

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end Jer 29:11
This wee picture represents all the brokenness , placed in his hands becomes a thing of beauty , halleluajh 💕🙌🏻

Jeremiah 30:17, ESV For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord

Isaiah 61:7, ESV Instead of your shame there shall be a double portion; instead of dishonor they shall rejoice in their lot; therefore in their land they shall possess a double portion; they shall have everlasting joy.

BE STILL

We are experiencing much trouble in the world right now. We have lived through a disease that did not recognise boundaries of nations. Now we see the ravages of war in Ukraine.

Jesus told His followers not to be afraid.
John 16:33. NIV

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.

All of Psalm 46 is a wonderful scripture to read and meditate upon if you are distressed about events happening in the nations.

God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear,though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
3 though its waters roar an their surging.
4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
the holy place where the Most High dwells.
5 God is within her, she will not fall;
God will help her at break of day.
6 Nations are in uproar,kingdoms fall;
he lifts his voice, the earth melts.
7 The Lord Almighty is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress.
8 Come and see what the Lord has done,
the desolations he has brought on the earth.
9 He makes wars cease
to the ends of the earth.
He breaks the bow and shatters the spear;
he burns the shields with fire.
10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”

11 The Lord Almighty is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress

Verse ten is so important. In the midst of your anxiety and fear, stop. Be Still . Be quiet. Listen God says “know that I am God”. He is over the nations. He is in control. He said do not fear though the mountains fall into the sea. Have faith in God who made the mountains. There is no other God who will care for us.

Effective Prayer

Mark 11 v 22
Jesus said to his disciples have faith in God. Listen to me. You can pray for anything and if you believe you can have it. All that’s required is that you really believe and do not doubt in your heart. But when you are praying first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins.

Let me pray for you.


Dear Heavenly Father, creator of the universe thank you for sending your son Jesus on the earth . In John 6 v 44 Jesus says no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them them up at the last day. Please draw whoever reads this post to Jesus. Give each one a revelation of Christ your son. Give them the gift of faith. And help them to pray to you, especially when there is no one to help them. Amen

Storms of Life

Good morning friends over the world.

Have you suffered from any storms recently?

The weather forecasters told us about Storm Eunice. Winds gathered speed across the North Atlantic. They hit Britain and the top of Europe causing death, disruption and damage. This storm was beyond man’s control.

In the world we will experience many storms whether it is a physical wind storm, health storm, emotional storm, financial storm or a relationship storm. We will not be able to control them.

What would Jesus do in a storm?
Jesus was in a boat sleeping on a pillow. A fierce storm arose with high waves breaking into the boat. His disciples were afraid of drowning. Jesus woke up and rebuked the wind and said to the water quiet down. The wind stopped and there was a great calm. The disciples said “Who is this man that even the wind and waves obey him.”Mark 4 v 37

There is a solution from Jesus. He told his followers that greater works shall we do. What should I do in a storm of life. I need to rebuke the storm and the symptoms of the storm and see calm. I speak to the sickness to go in Jesus name and the symptoms to leave. Jesus has given me power in his name. The same power He used to calm the storm on Galilee.

Instead of despair, hopelessness, brokenness and destruction, Jesus follower can bring
peace, calm and deliverance.

There is a hymn that says Go in my name and because you believe others will know that I live. Believe in Jesus and the power of His name. Don’t doubt. Don’t be afraid.
BELIEVE.

Let us use the power Jesus gave us to speak to the storms of life. Be still. Be healed in Jesus name.

Psalm 32 v 6. NIV. Therefore let all the faithful pray to you while you may be found; surely the rising of the mighty waters will not reach them.

Jesus Healed my Broken Heart

Good morning friends across the nations.
How are you today?

It’s Valentine weekend. Songs of love are played on the radio. Desire and hope for love are stirred in our hearts. Love is in the air. Will I get a Valentine Card? Does someone secretly admire me?

I did have those teenage dreams. I did get a Valentine Card. My heart was stirred with love. I had met my husband Brendan the previous summer. He is still very romantic, kind, giving and forgiving.

Fifty three years on my heart is stirred with love. Brendan and I were celebrating with some of our family the birth of twin grand daughters to Ruth and Stuart. It’s been a roller coaster week. Thank you Nora and Colin for the lovely meal.

My girls were looking down memory lane. One remembered with tears being bullied by the vice principal of her school. Another was caught by another school’s vice principal smoking at break time. Stresses and joys of living in a big family were recalled with more tears and laughter.

It hasn’t been easy for Brendan and I to rear a big family and still be alive. My heart was broken many times; children leaving home, difficulty in my marriage or sickness. My children asked me “Do you remember that?” as they recall some difficult incident. I was busy rearing the next child or making dinner. I wasn’t aware of things going on behind the scenes.

My husband thought if I had HRT medication it would make it more easier for him to live with me. Despite our love for each other we did have our difficulties in our twenties, thirties and fourties. So HRT was not the solution then or now. Forgiveness and love sets the captive heart free.

No I dont have dementia either because I don’t recall difficult times. I told my daughter a story recently about walking down my street. We moved here one year ago. It was dusk and I glanced through a window where the blinds had not been drawn. It looked homely. I turned back. It was my house! My daughter wanted to bring me to the optician to get my eyes seen to and was worried about my mind.

As I drove back home last night the reality hit me. My heart is not broken any more. Jesus has healed my heart. He was with me in all my troubles and he delivered me out of them all. He has restored my body soul and spirit. He had caused me to live to see my children’s children.

The scripture in Isaiah 61 is true. He healed the broken hearts and binds up their wounds. He gives a garment of praise instead of despair.

For anyone of you today who has a broken heart because of disappointment, loss or sickness don’t despair. Jesus is acquainted with your grief. Bring your troubles to His cross. He will pour in His love and heal you and bless you.

Read The Scriptures

Good morning everyone,

Near or far, east or west, north or south, old or young, family or friend, fair or dark, native or immigrant, welcome to my page.

I want to share with you something I read this week from Matthew 22 in the Bible.

The Pharisees and Sadducees, the religious of the day tried to trick Jesus with their questions.

The multitude who heard him were astonished at his doctrine. So much so that no one asked him any more questions. Jesus silenced them.

One example stood out for me. They asked Jesus whose wife will a woman be in heaven who had married seven brothers on earth.

Jesus replied You are in error. You don’t know the scriptures or the power of God.

Are we all guilty of being in error? Do we read the scriptures regularly, even every day?

I cannot emphasise the importance of reading the scriptures. You will know the truth and the truth will set you free.

I started to read the Bible regularly forty two years ago. I was a housewife looking after my family. It is became bread for my soul. It is the Word of God. Who is the Word of God? Jesus is. He is present with me as I read.

After many years of reading the scriptures I believe and have seen the power of God. I was able to draw on the truth of God’s Word that by the stripes of Jesus I am healed when I had fourth stage cancer. I am free from cancer. I am sure of this promise that I now pray for people to be healed.

Start reading the Bible today. You will become wise and you will live and be renewed by the power of God.

Well done!

To anyone who dreams, his book will inspire and help you to pay attention and believe in your dreams.

Brendan explains in his book how God used dreams to reveal His plan to redeem mankind from the destruction that happened in the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve sinned, gave their authority over the Earth to Satan, death resulted and they were put out of the garden.

The good news is that God had a plan to restore the kingdom of God on the Earth. He used Abraham’s family and his descendants to bring Jesus on the Earth.

The Word

John 1 v 1 and 14. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. He was full of grace and truth.


This weekend we celebrate Christmas, the day when we remember that Jesus, the Saviour of the world was born. He was a baby lying in a manger in a stable. That little baby is the Word of God made flesh.


Two thousand years later, is Christmas real for to us today? Is it just a time to eat, drink and meet with friends and family?


God left us His Word in the Scriptures. The New Testament tells us the stories about Jesus life and the stories written by witnesses who lived with him on earth. The power of God is in the Word of God that we read in the Bible.


It changed me. I was given a bible by a publican, Harry Mc Court. I had free time so I began to read it from Genesis to Revelation. The power of God changed my heart as I read it. The Word of God is the true Light that gives light to every man. The words I read were giving light and truth to my soul. I believed that Jesus is the truth from that time until now.


Perhaps you attend Church and you already believe in Jesus. Praise God. To grow in faith read the scriptures for yourself. It will enlighten you and show you what is true.


The bible is a small book. I can guarantee if you read it sincerely you will be changed. The power and light of God will touch you. What God has done for me He can do for you. Start out on your journey this Christmas. Meet the Word who became flesh, today.

A Feast in the Midst of Trouble

I bought my second Santa Fe last year. It was the during the COVID Lockdown. I wanted to try out my new four wheel drive. I went to visit my sister . She was careful about visitors as she was in touch with sick people. We chatted over coffee outside in the sunshine. The driveway up to her house is quite steep. She had recently installed an iron hand rail for ease in walking down or up to her house.

I said my goodbyes and jumped in my car. I drove off. Suddenly I heard “Crunch”. My car got impailed on the iron rail and left a long dent in the back door. My new car, What will Brendan say? I shook with fear. I sat paralysed. If I drive forward or backwards the dent will get longer. I felt helpless. The joy I had, evaporated. My sister reassured me till I recovered and got out of the car. I got in touch with my son and he came to the rescue. There is a signature dent across the back passenger door.

Fast forward to this past week. The car mechanic had rang me to tell me he had finished fixing my hand break. I asked Brendan to drive me to Saintfield to pick up my car and we could go for breakfast after. Before we left the house Brendan reminded me to bring my mobile phone. We drove to pick up my car.

I paid my mechanic and was delighted with getting my car road worthy again. Brendan and I agreed to meet back in Saintfield. I drove off, turned on the window wipers, the lights, the radio and had the heating up full blast. It was a dull, wet, cold morning. I was comfortable in my wagon, sheltered from wind and rain.

The Main Street in Saintfield is busy with traffic. Cars were trying to manoeuvre aroad a parked loading lorry. I got a parking space opposite the cafe Saints. I waited for Brendan.

I ordered freshly made pancakes with bacon. Brendan was having a coffee as he was meeting someone for lunch. We chatted and I shared my happiness at getting my car back. I was even happier when the waitress brought me three fluffy freshly cooked pancakes draped with maple syrup.

Breakfast over Brendan and I parted and said we would see each other back home in Belfast. I walked back to my car to find a white sheet on the dashboard. “Oh no”a parking ticket I thought. More money! It was a notice which read “Your car moved down the hill into the car in front.” I thought that’s strange I have just got my brakes repaired. A lady came out of a shop nearby. She told me what happened. The car in front was owned by an elderly man who had just stopped to pick up his pension from the Bank. He was distressed to see my car. He was afraid to move his car. Other shop keepers came to the rescue. Some one went looking for me in the local shops and cafes. I couldn’t be found. I was happy eating my breakfast across the way without any disturbance.

A driver had the bright idea to put a brick in front of my wheels to stop it moving again. Then the gentleman could drive off. He left his phone number for me.

I thanked everyone who had helped and apologised profusely. I wanted to get out of there fast! I jumped in the car and turned the key but no response. More trouble! It just went Click. Click when I tried the key again. What is happening? Then I remembered the radio, the heater, the wipers and the lights had run down my battery.

I wasn’t too distressed this time. I called Brendan to come back to help me. In the meantime I called the car mechanic. I didn’t have long to wait. He parked alongside my car and got my battery recharged. He removed the bricks from the wheels. The traffic got jammed again on the Main Street. Brendan returned. “It’s just as well you had your mobile or you would have been stranded!“

Just the events of a morning when it should have been quite straight forward to pick up my car. There was trouble but I didn’t loose my joy. I was having a feast while people were looking for me. I’m on the road again!
