Healed of Cancer 15 years

I’m sitting on the veranda of my daughter’s Mary’s home in Blantyre, Malawi. The trees over the house keep it cool in the heat of the day. The birds are singing. Flowers are blooming. It is a little oasis in the city.

I was so happy to get here to be with Mary and enjoy the warmth after a cold winter back in Ireland. Looking at the garden I’m reminded of my two books about God telling us not to worry, Look at the Birds and Look at the Wildflowers.

This last year I have faced challenges in health and family difficulties. My natural tendency is to worry , get disappointed, tired and depressed. I had forgotten God’s exhortation not to worry which brings anxiety.

Being here away from immediate demands back home I have time to reflect on how God has been faithful to Brendan and I down through the years. in Malawi God is reviving my body and spirit. I read in Psalm 73 v 26
My health may fail and my spirit grow weak
But God remains the strength of my heart.

Today is the fifteenth anniversary of me being diagnosed with fourth stage cancer. Three months later I was totally healed by God. He hasn’t stopped moving mountains and with His power I can do it too. He has helped Brendan and I before and He will do it again.

Psalm 91 encouraged us. I will be with you in trouble, because he acknowledges my name. With long life I will satisfy him. I had forgotten we have an adversary, the devil who is out to kill, rob, steal and destroy. Jesus overcame him on the cross and sent him running. I now resist him and he is fleeing from us.

God is good. He is restoring our fortunes like the water courses in the Negev. The battle belongs to the Lord and he is fighting for me as I trust him and not worry.

My Tomorrow

Pharoah’s army with their chariots and generals came after the people of Israel to stop them leaving Egypt. The people of Israel were frightened. God told Moses don’t worry. You will not see them Tomorrow. The Red Sea opened up and the people of Israel who had been slaves passed out of Egypt on dry land. Pharoah followed them but the waters of the Red Sea closed over them and drowned every one.

Joshua led the people of Israel into the Promised Land. The kings who lived in the land were frightened because they heard of what God did for Israel. Thirty one kings and their armies rose up against Joshua and the people. God said to Joshua TOMMOROW they will be all be defeated.

Since reading these scriptures I am declaring my TOMORROW will be better than today. God is working while I sleep to defeat my enemies that want to rob, steal and destroy from me and enslave me and my loved ones. They are always at work unless I resist Satan and tell him to flee. Scripture says the enemy will come at me one way but will flee seven ways.

Each day since I have been blessed with turn around in my situation. For example yesterday, I went to Boot’s optician to get a new frame for my glasses. My last one broke in November and I asked for their help then. They said I would have to pay for a new frame. I went home. Yesterday I was willing to pay the seventy pounds. I asked for compensation. Two ladies looked at the broken frame, conferred together and decided to replace the new frame free saving me seventy pounds.

Our van needed repaired. It is fixed and going for MOT today. My washing machine broke down. I got a new to me washing machine from a neighbour. All in one day.

Believe God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. And claim your compensation for the years the locusts have eaten. Get back what the enemy has stolen.

Heavenly Lights

James 1 v 17 says

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change.

Brendan and I are staying with our son and family in Turin. We visited a place called Superga where there is a Cathedral and is famous with tourists. It the burial place for kings and queens who used to reign in Italy. Our son lives below on the hill leading up to Superga.

I checked my Facebook page these last few days. There are many pictures of colourful lights, a display of the Northern lights appearing over the nations.
Colours of the rainbow are filling the sky over Ireland, Slovakia and Canada. Pink, orange and green are main colours. Abraham sent a picture of lights he saw in New Zealand. There was a picture of lights in the sky taken over Superga last night.

Normally the Northern lights are seen over countries near the Arctic Circle, Norway and Sweden. Brendan and I visited Iceland hoping to see the Northern lights some years back but we were disappointed.

God created the sun, moon and stars. We are used to our daily routine and take for granted God’s provision. But He is speaking in these days to the nations as He displays lights in the sky. He is the Father of the heavenly lights.

When I tell people stories from the bible they don’t believe. They doubt that Moses passed through the Red Sea. They doubt He put the rainbow in the sky after rain.

I know God’s Word is true. The same God who is the Father of lights healed me of cancer. God is speaking to the nations through the lights in the sky. Many people do not attend Church, but God is speaking through creation. There is no excuse not to believe.

I said at the beginning. Every good and perfect gift comes from above. Acknowledge God as the only God and thank him.

Toronto Airport

I travelled with my son by car to Toronto airport. There were highways with four or six lanes full with cars, going over bridges and circling around tower blocks. Everyone on the move.

I read in Toronto airport that forty million people pass through this airport every year. I looked around. People with cases were passing focusing to get to their check in desks or flights. Old, young, black, white, brown, women and men fully dressed or scantily covered were there.

People from every nation work in the cafes, shops, at the desks, in security check points and on the aeroplanes.

I arrived at my gate where my flight would soon be leaving for Ireland. I sat down and pondered on this place where so many people meet. Who am I in the midst of this sea of people. Psalm 8 came to mind.

3 When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,
The moon and the stars, which You have ordained,
4 What is man that You are mindful of him,
And the son of man that You visit him?
5 For You have made him a little lower than the angels,
And You have crowned him with glory and honor.
6 You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands;
You have put all things under his feet

Gods love overwhelmed me. I felt like the little sparrow in the song His eye is on the sparrow.

Whenever I am tempted, whenever clouds arise,
When songs give place to sighing, when hope within me dies,
I draw the closer to Him, from care He sets me free;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;

I picked up my bags and found my place on the plane. I traveled home without fear.

Choosing a Wife

Where does your wife fit. This is good advice for men. Often they want a traditional wife who cooks, cleans, looks after the house and children.

Life values change from country to country. This article doesn’t even address if you want children. Getting a wife is good but if you want children choose carefully.

  • When choosing a woman who works, you have to accept that she can’t handle the house.

*If you have chosen a housewife who can take care of you and manage your home completely, you must accept that she doesn’t earn money.

  • If you choose an obedient woman, you must accept that she depends on you and you must secure her life.

*If you decide to be with a strong woman, you have to accept that she is tough and has her own opinion..

  • If you choose a beautiful woman, you will have to accept great expenses.
  • If you decide to be with a successful woman, you must understand that she has character and has her own goals and ambitions.

Perfect doesn’t exist. Everyone has their own enigma, which makes us unique.

Jesus disciples were arguing among themselves who was the greatest. Jesus took a little child and said, however becomes like one of these will be greatest in the kingdom of God…

We need the Holy Spirit to guide one in the midst of the complexities of life.

His ways are not man’s ways.

All God’s Bible Dreams

I am reading my husband Brendan’s book ,
All God’s Bible Dreams.

For anyone interested in dreams it is a must have book. Peter and Joel in the bible said I will pour out my Spirit on all people.

Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your old men will dream dreams,
your young men will see visions.
Even on my servants, both men and women,

These are days when God is speaking to people through dreams. If you dream a dream don’t ignore it. God may be getting your attention.

Brendan’s book has revelations that help one understand the Bible, the importance of the Jewish people, the importance of dreams and how the dreams in the Old Testament helped to preserve a people who could receive Jesus.

Brendan spent three years writing and was told in a dream to write it. This book is full of treasure. The chapter on Sleep and Dreams is very valuable in itself. It is just one chapter of many. Each chapter can stand alone with information.

I am reading Brendan’s book on Kindle. I can scroll through the chapters easily, day or night, flying in an aeroplane, or waiting for someone.

God is not dead. No He is alive and wants to talk to each one of us. He loves us and does not want anyone to perish. Here is a link to the book.

I’m as surprised as you are.

It’s like having a baby.

I was working on this book for about nine months.

It’s been a quick birth.

Brendan is a good midwife.

I gave my book over to him to put the finishing touches.

He has completed the job and published my book on Kindle today.

He was there for all our fourteen children’s births.

My book is about being healed in my mind and heart from trauma after having fourth stage cancer thirteen years ago. Jesus said look at the birds of the air. You are more important than they are. Matt 6:21. Living in the midst of nature brought about my healing. By the Stripes of Jesus I am made whole. God is in the business of total restoration!

A Nation who Heard God Speak

Moses was the leader of the descendants of Abraham. He led the people out from Egypt after God sent the ten plagues.


The people came to Mt Sinai. Moses brought the people out to meet God. There was thunder, lighting, a dense cloud and the sound of loud trumpets. All the people were filled with fear.


The Lord had descended upon Mt Sinai in the fire and smoke rose up like the smoke of a furnace. The entire mountain trembled. The sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder. Then God spoke the Ten Commandments to the people, the Jews. Exodus 19-20.


They were entrusted with the words of God. Romans 3. They heard God speak.
There is no other nation who heard God’s voice. God gave revelation to the Jews, the Ten Commandments.

Dancing in Jerusalem

I was reading today from Acts 2.
Brendan and I visited the Upper Room which is historically know to be where the disciples met together after Jesus ascended into heaven.

We met a group of believers from Brazil praising God in the Upper Toom. Brendan and I joined in their dancing. I noticed a lady beside me who was weak. I asked did anyone need prayer for healing. I offered to pray. Many of the group gathered around me and I prayed in Jesus name for them. It was a special time.

There are two important feasts the Jews celebrated. Firstly the Passover, to remember the freedom from Egypt. Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead on the weekend of Passover.

Secondly the Shavuot which is fifty days after Passover. It was to remember Moses receiving the Ten Commandments. All Jewish men were required to come to the Temple in Jerusalem on these feast days. It is interesting to read that there were Jews in the city from as far away as Pakistan, Egypt and Rome.

Before Jesus ascended into heaven He told his disciples to wait in Jerusalem for the gift The Father had promised. They were baptised with the Holy Spirit at Shavnot, know to us as Pentecost. They spoke in new languages.

When the disciples went down among the men who were gathered from the nations they were speaking in new languages. The men from the nations heard their own language from the disciples who were praising God.

Peter explained what had happened to Jesus and that he was the Messiah the Jews were waiting for. Three thousand people believed Peter that day. Among them were Jews from all the nations. These new believers brought the gospel back home to the nations they lived in. That was the beginning of the gospel being spread to the nations.

The Father poured out thd Holy Spirit when Jews from the nations were gathered. God’s timing is perfect.

Over two thousand years since then we are waiting for Jesus return to earth. He spoke to his disciples about it. He said there will be earthquakes and wars. But only The Father knows the time of Jesus return. God’s timing again will be perfect.

Receiving the Holy Spirit

There is a chorus that goes “All over the world the Spirit is moving”. I say Amen to that.

Brendan and I are just back from a mission to Slovakia. We were well received in the Conference and other small groups we were invited to.

Brendan majored on teaching on how to receive the Holy Spirit with speaking in the language God gives. He says if it was good enough for Mary, Jesus mother and Peter and the other apostles why not receive like they did. It’s a big shock for some to know that Mary spoke in tongues. I majored on deliverance and healing.

The Holy Spirit fell at Pentecost to give the disciples Power to be witnesses for Jesus. The church was born.

The devil has power. He said to Jesus in the wilderness when he took Jesus to a high place “If you bow down and worship me I will give you all these kingdoms. ” Jesus replied you must worship God alone so get out of here.

When Jesus was crucified on the cross and died He defeated Satan. He broke the power of death and hell and sin to save the whole world from the power of Satan. People don’t know they are under the power of Satan if they don’t believe and obey Jesus.

Jesus told his mother, family and his disciples to wait in Jerusalem to receive power from on high. The Holy Spirit came and gave them power to cast out demons, heal the sick and raise the dead.

The Holy Spirit is described in Ezekiel 47 and Revelation 22 as the river that flows from the temple. Wherever the water flows everything shall live. There will be no curse. Salty water becomes fresh with fish living in it. Trees grow on each side of the river bearing fruit. The leaves do not wither but are for healing the nations.

If you want to live, be healed, bear fruit and catch fish get planted beside the river of God and let your roots grow deep. Pray in the Spirit at all times and you will not sin or get sick and you can do the work Jesus gave you to do.

Your work may be being a father, a mother, a schoolgirl or boy, farmer, pensioner, doctor, lawyer, servant etc. You will have power to do it well.
