The Power of the Blood of Jesus

Good morning friends.
I have a big family. From each child was young we lived in good health. I didn’t expect them to be off school with colds and flues. My father said what is wrong with your children they don’t get sick.

I heard messages at Church that Jesus healed diseases. I suppose these words got in my spirit at a young age.
I had rheumatic fever as a child so I needed to believe in God to get better. I did get healed from two bouts of this disease with no ill effect.

As an adult I read the scriptures and got to know more of what Jesus did while he was on earth. He healed all who came to him with disease. Alleluia.

One of my favourite scriptures is about the man who was let down through the roof. His friends helped him get to Jesus. Jesus said to him your sins are forgiven. But you can’t see if your sins are forgiven but you can see if you are healed. Rise up and walk. Jesus did the full work.. He forgave the man’s sins and healed his disease.

Jesus told his followers to do the same. How do we heal others? By believing in the name of Jesus and by applying the blood of Jesus. By the stripes of Jesus we are healed. Dare to believe and receive what Jesus freely gave us. He broke the power of sin and sickness over us. He destroyed the works of the devil.

Speak the name of Jesus over your loved ones. Receive communion which is God’s covenant with us when we remember Jesus death to set us free.

As my children grew they walked in healing. I didn’t let them take vaccines because at the time there was talk of side effects. If they got sick we prayed for them. I live by faith in God. I am different.

As I believe in Jesus he is faithful to answer my prayers for healing because I believe what he did by shedding his blood. Dare to be different!

There were ten plagues that God delivered his people in Egypt from. There may be plagues that come again to us, like covid. It’s time to believe that Jesus can heal and deliver us from any plague. Be prepared. Enter into the protection of the blood of Jesus for your household.
Do you want to be waiting overnight in crowded AxE rooms? Pray and ask God to heal.

St Winifred

Brendan and I are visiting Dublin and taking advantage of the new train service from Belfast.

We got off at Jarvis a few stops on the Luas from Connelly St Station. We crossed the River Liffey on the Millenium Bridge and entered the Temple Bar area.

Our hotel was nearby. We chevked in and rested after our journey. Temple Bar is the name given to an area in Dublin along the Liffey, famous for tourists, who come to the bars and restaurants here. As we walked along the streets we met and heard people from the nations, few speaking English.

I looked up on the internet about the area we are staying. To my surprise I found that there is a well nearby in Eustace St named after St Winifred. Here is the inscription that the Dublin Council say about the well.

Inscription.

This well, St Winifred’s, was probably constructed when Eustace Street was laid out between 1680 and 1720. Before that this area was a salty tidal shore.

Water supply must have been a problem for the first inhabitants of Eustace Street so the well was dug. “

My mother was called Winifred. She had faith in Jesus. I have not met any one else called Winifred in my life. I looked up the history of St Winifred. She was a believer in Jesus in the eighth century and was martyred for her faith.

It is a blessing to be reminded of my mother. I’m writing a book about my children currently. From her example I was not afraid to have children. Dad and she reared ten children who have done well in life. I learned much from their example.

Psalm 86 v 16
Turn to me and have mercy on me. Show your strength on behalf of your servant, save me because I serve you just as my mother did. NIV

Once when Brendan was on a mission in India my young son Abraham had a dream. He was seven years old at the time. He was taken up to heaven by angels. There he saw my mother and father. They held him in their arms. They asked how was his mum and asked him to look after me. His dream was a comfort to me.

Jesus was at Jacob’s Well where He was talking to a woman who came for water.

But sir, you don’t have a rope or a bucket,” she said, “and this well is very deep. Where would you get this living water? And besides, do you think you’re greater than our ancestor Jacob, who gave us this well? How can you offer better water than he and his sons and his animals enjoyed?”

Jesus replied, “Anyone who drinks this water will soon become thirsty again. But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.”

“Please, sir,” the woman said, “give me this water! Then I’ll never be thirsty again, and I won’t have to come here to get water.”

Jesus was talking about the Holy Spirit. A believer in Jesus filled with the Holy Spirit is a well. Jesus said out of your belly will flow rivers of living water. Brendan and I are living wells staying near Eustace St.

St Winifred’s Well.

Good Friday

Good morning everyone.

Welcome to Good Friday. Why is today called good when it’s a day we remember the terrible sufferings of Jesus?

He sweated blood when he was praying in the garden of Getheseme. The soldiers spat, pulled out his beard and struck him. More blood flowed. His face was marred beyond recognition. A crown of thorns penetrated his head. More blood flowed. He was whipped on his back till near death. His hands, feet and side were opened up. All his blood flowed.

He became a sacrifice by his death for us to be forgiven, healed, restored, blessed down the generations and delivered from the power of the devil who brings premature death.

God so loved us that he sent his son Jesus that whoever believes in him will have eternal life in heaven after one dies. So there is no need to fear death.
That is why today is called Good!

I was shocked when I visited an accident and emergency facility yesterday. Sick people in beds side by side, filled a large room to capacity! The waiting room outside was filled with people waiting to be seen. To me it looked like a war zone! No one has told these poor people that Jesus heals today. Or if they have heard they don’t believe.

Strong men, ambulance drivers looked on in despair. Doctors, nurses, hospital staff are doing their best. They know their limits.

There was a notice beside the reception listing the cost of hospital services. Starting at 100 euros for consultation with overnight stay 400. Another shock to my day. Jesus freely gives. He paid the price with his blood. Only believe him. I thank God for his healing power in my life.

I later stopped in a large supermarket. Chocolate eggs were piled up. Trolleys were filled with the best of food and drink. Do they have any knowledge of what Easter is about.

Today hear my words. Believe in Jesus. Ask him to forgive your sins and heal your diseases. If you already know Him pray for others to believe. Waken up. The world as you know it is falling apart.

The Battle Belongs to the Lord

The Battle belongs to the Lord

You haven’t heard from me for some weeks . My daughter challenged me tonight. “Have you written any blogs recently? You need to write about all your difficulties! Tell about the bad times as well as the good. “

In my last blog, six weeks ago I wrote about waging war against the principalities in heavenly places. I use the name and the power of the blood of Jesus to defeat Satan who comes to rob, steal and destroy. Well Brendan and I have been through a war since.

Brendan was admitted to hospital for tests. He got home again and is doing well. At the time our children were very conserned.

A few days later I fell and fractured a bone in my right knee. I have had a full plaster on my right leg for the past six weeks. I have been confined to bed for most of the days since.

My husband and family have had to look after me. Brendan has been my carer mainly, bringing breakfast and meals. He didn’t get much time to be pampered after his hospital visit. I appreciate their love and generosity. My neighbours are conserned. Back in September I was outside hosing the back alley.

I have had mixed feelings over the past weeks, depressed, frustrated and weak with sleepless nights. We had to cancel two trips, one to Slovakia and another to Greece. Instead of rest in the sun I have had rest In my bed!!

In hindsight all things have worked together for good. Brendan and I have been home to be with our son who needed our help and the knock on affect on the rest of our family. One of our grandchildren is facing surgery.

A friend of ours was in Israel when the war broke out. Thank God she got another flight home after her own flight was cancelled. Life is changing for me but also for the nations. There are wars and earthquakes as Jesus foretold. It is distressing to hear of war casualties.

I was reading a note I made earlier in the year. It goes “One can’t get through crises without God. “. I can say for sure I couldn’t have got through the recent storms without God. All our family have been affected. When one suffers we all suffer. We were not left without encouragement. Friends or family would call.

I was comforted in the night as I read from the scriptures promises of healing and restoration. I listened to a song by ian White. From it I heard the words “there is holy ground to walk upon, there is work for you to do, limbs will be made strong again. “

It is at times like this I hold on to prophetic words I have been given of hope and deliverance. These situations will pass. Faith is believing what you don’t yet see. God has helped Brendan and I in the past. He will help us again.

I told stories recently about a mother gull that was defending her young. That has been prophetic for Brendan and I. We are praying and defending our family from the attacks of Satan.
We will be victorious over his attacks because Jesus is fighting our battles.

God gave me a promise earlier in the summer. I was reading about Jehosaphat the king of Israel. A great army was attacking . A prophet came and said don’t be afraid. The battle belongs to the Lord.

I will be healed, my husband will be healed, my son ‘s situation will be healed, my grandchild will be healed in Jesus name. There is suffering but there is healing in being a follower of Jesus. And Satan is defeated by the power of the cross.

Healing after Forgveness

I was reading a message on a praying What’s App group. It is an article on unforgiveness from a book written by June Newman Davies.

She writes “Firstly one needs to forgive from your heart anyone who has hurt you. Secondly one asks God to forgive the person who hurt you for what he did. Thirdly, ask God to forgive the one who is hurt and remove any unforgiveness.” I agree with what June writes.

In the prayer Jesus taught his disciples he said “Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.” Jesus went on to his death to demonstrate what he was saying. He interceded with the Father to forgive us because we don’t know what we are doing.

Jesus died on the cross from his wounds. Every drop of blood trickled down from his head, his hands and his feet onto the clay of the earth. He said “Forgive them for they know not what they do.” Jesus released forgiveness to us, who are created from the clay of the earth.

When one knows the forgiveness of Jesus from one’s sins then Jesus asks us to forgive others. By forgiving someone who has hurt us we release ourselves from a spirit of unforgiveness, bitterness and resentment.

“Scientists” quotes Anne, “Show 98 per cent of diseases come from hurts one holds onto, caused by what others have said or done to us. These attitudes cause evil spirits to form a spirit of inforgiveness which causes a root of bitterness to grow up.”

I agree with Anne. I know the result of unforgiveness is disease. I had bitterness against others who hurt me. As I forgave them the cancer disappeared and I was healed from fourth stage cancer.

In 2 Corinthians verse 3 Paiul says, “We are human, but we don’t wage war with human plans and methods. We use God’s mighty weapons to knock down the devil’s strongholds. “

The devil takes advantage of any unforgiveness . If not released from this spirit other spirits come in bringing, anger, hatred and vengeance. These affect our blood. Our immune system is weakened. Diseases like, cancer, insomnia, diabetes, arthritis and others follow.

The good news is Jesus came to destroy the work of the devil. The Blood of Jesus and the name of Jesus are my weapons of warfare. I apply the blood of Jesus to every sin and sickness. The devil flees before the name and the power of the Blood of Jesus and healing follows.

Are you suffering today from disease. Receive the divine healing of Jesus by forgiving others.

Do Not Doubt

Do not Doubt that Jesus died and is alive today to heal you.

Now Thomas, one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!”But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”

You may not see Jesus but blessed are you who believe yet have not seen.

It is said that Thomas later went to India. His influence can be seen in Kerala the most Christian state in all of India.

Today Jesus will meet you where you don’t believe. Ask him to reveal himself to you again. Thomas did believe in Jesus before. But had turned away because Jesus had left. If you once believed in Jesus return and Jesus will bring you forward.

Eleven Years Healed of Cancer

It was Easter Monday eleven years ago that I went to the local hospital’s Accident and Emergency. I wasn’t feeling well. On examination the doctor suspected cancer in my bowel. It was confirmed weeks later after tests and scans that I had a nine inch cancer tumour in my bowel. It was beginning to invade the walls of my bowel and spread locally.

The panel of cancer specialists suggested a course of treatment to reduce the tumour in preparation for an operation to remove the cancerous area. I started five weeks of chemotherapy and five weeks of the maximum dose of radiotherapy.
When the treatment was completed I had no side effects from the treatment; no hair lose, no burning of my skin or internal organs where the radiotherapy was targeted. Six weeks later the doctor called me to arrange surgery to remove the cancerous tumour.

Many people were praying for me since I was diagnosed with cancer, my husband , family and friends. I believe I was healed after prayer. I felt like the woman who touched the hem of Jesus garment and was healed of an issue of blood. She felt better immediately.

I told the doctor I believed I was healed. My husband agreed. The doctor thought I was crazy. This had never happened before in his thirty years experience. A colonoscopy was arranged. The camera showed there was no tumour in my bowel. The lining of my bowel was as clear as a baby’s skin.

I remain healed and alive after eleven years. I have not taken any medication since. I believe the cancer will not come back. My husband and I have written a book, Staying Alive, detailing my healing. It is available to purchase on BOOKS.IE It is not within my own power or effort that I am alive. It is through the power of God that I am healed and alive.

This weekend we celebrate Easter. Everyone is glad to have holidays off school and work. But do we really know the meaning of Easter?

Nearly two thousand years ago Jesus was born. He was the Son of God yet he came on earth and was born to Mary. He grew up in his Jewish family and lived like any other child in the rough and tumble of family life.

At the age of thirty he started his ministry. People came to him to be healed of diseases and he healed them all. He cast out demons that were troubling many. He delivered the demoniac who was living among tombs, of two thousand demons.

Jesus chose twelve disciples and taught them to do what he was doing. He gave them power to heal the sick and cast out demons. He even told his followers to do the same in Mark 16. Jesus gives us the same power today to heal others and cast out demons. The religious leaders and kings of the day did not like what Jesus was doing. He was a threat to them. They planned to execute Jesus by crucifiction.

We remember this week, Holy Week in many parts of the world, those sad days long ago when Jesus was betrayed, accused, scourged and crucified. Blood flowed down his head his hands and feet and side. The blood which flowed was shed for us to forgive our sins and to heal our diseases. They thought they got rid of their trouble maker. But no. Jesus rose from the grave. He appeared to his disciples and then went to heaven.

I believe in Jesus. I believe he shed his blood to heal me and forgive my sins. Isaiah 53 says He was bruised for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquity and by his stripes we are healed. I know the power of the Blood of Jesus that healed me in 2010. He continues to help me and keep me alive to testify to his power to heal. 2021 years on Jesus still heals.

Take time this week to seek the true meaning of the feast of Easter. Enquire, search and seek. I did so forty odd years ago. I know Jesus is true. I know his power in my life. Not only does God promise to forgive us and heal us, he promises to take us to heaven when we die if we continue to believe in him.

Jesus when he was on earth taught about hell. There is an after life where all men will be judged. Those who follow Jesus will go to heaven and others will go to hell which was prepared for the devil and his demons. Chose eternal life today. Believe in Jesus the Son of God.

Dare to believe in Jesus. Ask him for His help. He will surely answer.

New Vaccine 2020

Everyone is rejoicing at the news of a vaccine for Covid. They are looking to man for a cure. I believe that Jesus Christ the Son of God is the Healer of all diseases. I have trusted God to be my healer and my children’s healer. When my children were young my dad said, “Why are your children not sick in the winter time.”

I trust God to heal. God healed me from fourth stage cancer. What is a small virus before the name and the Blood of Jesus.

There is nothing new under the sun. Back thirty years ago, I did research into the MMR vaccine. I discovered that material from aborted foetus was used in the research for that vaccine. I refused to have my children inoculated then. They have not suffered for not receiving that vaccine.

I do not take the flu vaccine. I have heard from friends that they believe their children and elderly parents suffered ill effects after taking these vaccines. I did not let my daughter take an injection that is given to teenagers at school. One doesn’t know the side effects of young girls having to take this injection.

I see from other people’s research updates that unborn baby tissue is being used again in the Covid vaccine. I am abhorred at infants being aborted. I am appalled that tissue from the dead bodies of infants is used for research. I’m happy to use a vaccine as long it has not be developed using foetal tissue.

People please check out about vaccines. Don’t be afraid to ask Jesus to heal you and trust him for your healing. Read about Jesus in the book of the Bible. He went about doing good and healing all those oppressed of the devil. Jesus broke the power of death and hell when He died on the cross. By His stripes I am healed. I believe. He is worthy to be trusted. What He did for me He can do for you. And He freely gives. No expense. No fear. No control.

There are plenty of advertisements for cures for different conditions. Loose weight, eat vegetables, take tablets: try this therapy: all costing you money.

There is one healer, Jesus. He freely gives.

Thankful for Health Services

I was listening to a programme on BBC 4 radio this week. It was reporting on events in Ecqador during the Covid 19.

One lady was interviewed. Her husband contacted the virus and died in a few days. She rang the authotrities in her country to come and take away her husband’s body. Only after five days was his decaying body removed. The lady contacted the disease as well but survived. She had two young sons.

Many families suffered like she did. Dead bodies were left lying on the streets for days. The hospitals and normal services were not prepared for the death of so many people.

It is easy to complain about past and present wrongs in our country. I am so thankful after listening to that programme. I am so grateful for the services we are blessed with here in Northern Ireland. These services were put in place by people who believed God in generations past and wanted to help their fellow man. First of all I thank God for the people in our country who believe in God. God has preserved us from sickness and healed many who contacted the disease. Our local minister was told to prepare for many deaths from Covid. There were not any deaths from Covid in our town.

I am thankful for the Health Service, the many men and women who worked in the hospitals. I am thankful for the politicians who had to make difficult decisions in the crisis. I am thankful for the people in our families, villages and towns who supported each other through their fears. I am thankful for the people who know their God and intercede for others.

Let us keep alert and keep praying. God my Heavenly Father delivered me from death from cancer ten years ago through the prayers of many. I believe Jesus heals today. I want to tell others that Jesus will heal our diseases and even prevent us from getting sick. This is good news. Let us pray for workers in the harvest to go to those countries that don’t know of God’s love and care through Jesus sacrifice for us on the cross. The Blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin and sickness.

Ten Years Healed from Malignant Colon Cancer

Spring has arrived.
Cherry blossom trees are coming into bloom.
Ten years ago Brendan and I were sitting, sobbing together under a cherry blossom tree outside the Lagan Valley hospital in Lisburn. We had just received confirmation that I had Malignant Colon Cancer.
On page 13 of Staying Alive Brendan writes,
“The nurse said you have a long hard road ahead of you. She mentioned, scans, tests, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and an operation”.
I had been bleeding for some time. I was too numb to take in the enormity of my situation. The doctors and nurses had a plan to help me, six weeks of chemotherapy and chemotherapy and then an operation to remove the tumour. This treatment could extend my life for a while. Few people survive for many years after colon cancer.

I continued with hospital appointments. Each day for five weeks I attended The City hospital in Belfast for chemotherapy treatment and radiotherapy. I didn’t suffer any side effects. Six weeks later the doctors called me to arrange an operation to remove the nine inch tumour. The treatment was just to reduce the tumour in preparation for the operation the doctors said. They were quite shocked when I told them I believe I was healed by God and I didn’t need an operation. They protested, Mrs Mc Cauley, “You don’t understand. The scans show the cancer has spread into the walls of your colon and surrounding tissue. We still need to operate.”

I said “I understand Doctor. I acknowledge your skills in helping me and your consern for me. I know my God, and I believe when he healed me he will have done a complete job and left no cancer behind.” The doctor did a colonoscopy and found no trace of the tumour. Instead the inside of my colon was like a baby’s skin. The doctor wrote out a letter to say he couldn’t find any tumour. I call this my certificate.

My testimony is that I was healed by the power of the name of Jesus and the power in his shed blood on the cross. In Isaiah the prophet said he was bruised for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities and by his stripes I am healed. I remain healed today. I am not on any medication and I have regular scans which show there is no cancer in my body. I give thanks and praise to God Almighty.

I wish to acknowledge the prayers of many people, their faith that God heals today, their love and encouragement, the help of medical staff who showed care and kindness to help me in the early stages.

What God has done for me he can do for you.  I am not a holy person but it is by faith in the power of the name of Jesus I am healed.  I believe that Jesus heals today.  Put your trust in Jesus. Seek him with all your heart. I pray for others to be healed. Come to him just as you are.  He will never turn anyone away.  Pour out your desires to God.
