Throat Cancer Healed

It was a beautiful warm morning. Brendan and I went for a drive to Newcastle Co Down on Sunday last. We stopped at Dundrum market along the way. I remembered many days bringing our children there, walking around the stall holders and stopping for a chat. We ended the morning with sausages and chips. It was good to be back. Corona virus closed down the market for two years.

I met a man later in the day called Gordon. Brendan told him I was healed of cancer twelve years ago. He responded to say he had cancer eleven years ago. I wanted to hear more.

He was in hospital for tests. The doctor told him he had third stage throat cancer. He had a tumour the size of a walnut. The doctors said it was too difficult to operate. When Gordon heard what the doctors said he didn’t panic. He began to consider his situation. He wasn’t ready to die. He wanted to live but the doctor’s forecast was grim.

Gordon had been a preacher of the gospel in his youth. In his work place he found young men would come to him for advice. He would always be there to listen to their troubles and encourage them over their difficulties . He would nudge them towards Jesus.

Now he was in trouble. In Psalm 91 God’s Word promises He will be with you in trouble. With long life will I satisfy you. God reached down to Gordon in his hour of distress.

In the next weeks the tumour grew to the size of an orange. The doctors decided to operate even though there was a risk of interfering with important arteries to the brain. They removed the tumour.

Gordon showed me a photo taken after the operation. There were two long lines of staples across the side of his neck like the photo below. I looked for the scars. His wounds had healed and were barely visible. He endured further treatments in hospital. He had the will to live. Eleven years on he is healed of cancer. Because Gordon helped others in their troubles God reached down and helped him in his trouble.

I thought of the scripture, By his stripes you are healed. Jesus shed his blood from his wounds so our wounds can be healed. If we believe in the great physician we will be healed.

Gordon continues to have a listening ear to young men. He doesn’t condemn but helps each one practically and perhaps says a quiet prayer for them. God is faithful. As we live for Him he cares for us.

God not only died to forgive our sins, he heals and restores our lives. He helps us to live again despite despair and hardship. There is no other God who is merciful. He is worthy to be praised. Amen.

Why Am I Healed of Fourth Stage Cancer

Dear Readers,

I was challenged yesterday when some one said to me “Many people are prayed for and they are not healed.” This fact is distressing and causes one to think, “Why bother praying when it does no good.” When one prays for healing and it doesn’t happen then one’s hopes are dashed. One feels like giving up.

My hopes were dashed many years ago when I had been praying over promises God had given me and it seemed God didn’t hear. I prayed for unity with my husband, unity with other believers, unity with my family, and over many other dreams I had. The more I prayed the more I felt alone and misunderstood instead of being accepted and included. I fell into depression. I didn’t care if I died. I gave up the fight to believe God in the face of despair. I developed fourth stage cancer.

Others prayed for me when they heard I had cancer. The people I felt in disunity with prayed for me, my husband, family and other believers. God heard the prayers of many and I am healed completely.

It was not because I was a good person, I am healed. I had many sins in my heart. I am healed to demonstrate the power of the name of Jesus and the power of Jesus Blood shed on the cross to save and to heal. It was brought about by the believing prayers of others in the Body of Christ. God had mercy on me. We have an all powerful God, the only God who is kind and merciful and does not treat as our sins deserve.

My husband wrote a book about my healing, called Staying Alive. Someone said to me “Why are you writing a book about your healing? Sure many people are healed and they don’t talk about it or even write a book about it.”Or another said “Who do you think you are praying? Leave that to the priests and ministers!”

The reason I heard someone say to me that many people are prayed for and are not healed is because we hear stories about those who weren’t healed. People are not speaking up and telling about being healed by God.

I am speaking up. I had to overcome my own fear of telling my story, afraid of what people may think. I overcome Satan by the word of my testimony and I love not my life unto death.

I will continue to tell of God’s love, mercy and compassion to heal. If you haven’t had an answer to your prayers don’t give up. Don’t loose hope. God’s Word tells us stories about perseverance. A widow wanted justice from a judge . She pestered him till he finally gave in because she was annoying him. A neighbour asked his neighbour for bread late at night. He was in bed and didn’t want to answer. But because the neighbour kept knocking the man got up and gave him bread.

How much kinder is our Heavenly Father. God wants us to believe and wrestle with him till we see the answers. Don’t dwell on what has not worked out. Meditate on stories of faith and God’s answered prayer. Give thanks for what God has already done and praise him for what he Is going to do for you.

I want to share stories of healing. If you have been healed by God tell others. Feel free to tell me about your healing! Thank you for reading.

The Double Rainbow

Brendan and I have returned from a trip to Israel. Jerusalem is a city full of the history about God Almighty in heaven and his dealings with His people on earth. He chose the descendants of Abraham as his people, Israel. We witnessed Jewish families, young and old, teenagers, young soldiers walking the streets of Jerusalem. I receive a Blessing in Jerusalem.

More than any other place in creation The Lord loves Jerusalem are the words of a hymn.

It takes time to settle back home after a trip. One has to readjust. Last Friday night Brendan and I were driving out to a friend’s house. It was raining in the midst of sunshine. When we turned a corner from our street in Belfast a double rainbow appeared ahead of us. The rainbow stayed with us on our journey out of town. A strong coloured rainbow rose from the horizon on the left in a large arc to the horizon on the right. Above it was a more faded rainbow.

We sometimes call ourselves the Rainbow Family. When we went on walks, at the beach, on journeys, a rainbow would appear in the sky to remind us of God’s presence with us, his love , his care and His faithfulness to keep His promises. God put a rainbow in the sky after the Flood. It is a sign and promise to Noah and mankind that God would never again flood the earth.
There is a rainbow around God’s throne in heaven. Here is a reference to it.

1 Ezekiel v 25 and 29
And on this throne high above was a figure whose appearance resembled a man. All around him was a glowing halo, like a rainbow shining in the clouds on a rainy day. This is what the glory of the Lord looked like to me.

The display of the rainbow in the sky above us on Friday night spoke of that Glory of God around the throne. A little bit of heaven over Belfast.

If you are waiting for God’s promise to you, don’t give up. God is working it out for you.

You Will Never Thirst Again

Where am I?

You can find me on Google map. We had someone visit us recently. Before she came she checked out our address on google map . When she arrived she kept looking up at a neighbour’s chimney. She said where is the tree? On google map she had noticed a small sapling growing out of a chimney. You’ll be pleased to say it was removed earlier in the year. The whole chimney had to be dismantled and rebuilt at great expense to the owner.

Back to this morning. I having coffee in my local Cafe Nero’s. Outside the window two lorries parked up. Men unloaded disbatches of boxes of alcohol to the neighbouring shop, an off licence. Plenty of bottles of wine, cans of larger and spirits. The shop is restocking its supplies for the holiday weekend.

Many people are thirsty. Will the alcoholic drinks quench their thirst? No they don’t. Next day one can awake and be thirsty again. Jesus said to the woman at the well He would give her water she would never thirst again. What is this water?

The Holy Spirit is the water Jesus promised. Believe in Jesus and receive this water that will quench your thirsty soul. The water will bring healing, restoration, refreshing and new life. It doesn’t bring a hangover or pain or guilt.

What is so special about this weekend. Do you know? To me it is very special. I am reminded of the One who came from heaven to live and show me that God is my Father. He died for me on the cross, rose from the dead and sent the Holy Spirit to help me and comfort me and lead me into truth. He raised me from nearly dying of cancer and I am alive.

Twelfth Anniversary of having Cancer

I have good news for you today.
I thank and praise God for healing me from Malignant Cancer twelve years ago. There is no other God who heals and delivers one from death. He is Almighty God. He is my heavenly Father. He cares for me. I believe in Him and His Word. The way to know God is through reading His Word and believing in His son Jesus and receiving the power of the Holy Spirit.

Today is the twelfth anniversary of being diagnosed with fourth stage bowel cancer. That day twelve years ago was Easter Monday. We had just remembered the crucifixion and death of Jesus a few days before. On Easter Sunday we heard at Church the gospel telling us that some women went to Jesus tomb and his body wasn’t there. He had risen from the dead. There is no other empty tomb in the world.

I was now facing death. Would Jesus death and resurrection have any revelance to me and save me from death. What was I to do? I read in the gospels how Jesus went about doing good and healing all those who were oppressed by the devil. He healed all people who came to him from all diseases and delivered others from demons. The common theme is that He healed all those who asked.
I asked God to heal me. His mighty power moved to deliver me from death. God sent forth his word to heal me. I repented of any ways I had sinned, strife, rebellion, unforgiveness, bitterness and much more. He sent a prophecy through a friend that I would be healed 100%. My husband, family and friends began to pray for me. They had dreams, pictures and messages of hope for me. I was delivered from death. Brendan encouraged me, prayed and fought on my behalf for my healing. I would not be alive without his help. He used his authority to command Satan and all disease to go from me. Satan brings death. God’s Word says he comes to rob, steal and destroy. God answered Brendan’s prayer.

I now know the reality of the power of Jesus name and his death and shedding of his blood on the cross. Isaiah 53 says He was bruised for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquity and by His stripes we are healed.
In Jesus name I am healed. Demons, disease and cancer bow before the name of Jesus. I am covered by the blood of Jesus. My sins are forgiven. You too can be forgiven and healed by Jesus today if you ask him.

I seek to obey God. God promises to bless us when we obey him. In the last twelve years, three more of our children have married and sixteen grandchildren have been born. I am not living my life for myself. I know how I live will affect my children and my children’s children.

I have traveled with my husband Brendan to many nations working with him and telling my story of God’s power to heal. Greece, Canada, India, Slovakia, England, Iceland, Israel and Scotland are some of the nations I have travelled. I did not have any operations. I remain free of cancer . I have had check ups done and I’m still clear of cancer. I am Staying Alive. Praise God.

My husband wrote a book for me Staying Alive about my healing. It is available if you type in Amazon.com. Then type in Brendan Mc Cauley. Books are available there. It is available on Kindle. If you would like a copy press paperback beside Staying Alive.
Thank you for reading my post today.

The Wooden Spoon

Yesterday I was at a funeral service for an 89 year old lady. Towards the end of the service her sixty year old son spoke about memories he had about his Mum. He has been living in Florida for a long time.

He thanked his Mum and Dad for the “Wooden Spoon” referring to discipline his parents used when he was young growing up with five siblings. “In America people don’t know about the wooden Spoon”, he said. “My parents taught me values when I was growing up. I haven’t forgotten them.”

To live in a big family there needs to be unity and order or there will be chaos, each individual wanting their own way. The parents working in unity can bring about that leadership and bring peace to their family. There needs to be boundaries set and for anyone to break the rules there needs to be something done to deter any further wrongdoing.

Many families of old have used a smack with a wooden spoon as discipline when rules were broken. There is a saying “Spare the rod and spoil the child.” The Word of God gives us guidelines.

Proverbs 13:24
Whoever spares the rod hates their children, but the one who loves their children is careful to discipline them

Proverbs 29:17
Discipline your children, and they will give you peace; they will bring you the delights you desire.

Proverbs 22:15
Folly is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline will drive it far away.

A child will learn obedience when he listens to his earthly father who disciplines him. It will be easy for this child to hear from his Heavenly Father and obey Him when he grows up.

Jesus listened to His Father in heaven. He went alone to pray often. He learnt obedience through the things he suffered. He was obedient even to death on the cross.

Sometimes we go through hardship and suffering. Don’t despise it. It is our Father disciplining us for our good and teaching us to choose the right way to go.

Testimony of Restoration

Good morning everyone,

I am very encouraged this morning to see this post on Facebook . Helen joined Brendan and I on one of our weekend Gatherings in Corrymeela. She believes In Jesus for His forgiveness, his healing and restoration. Jesus paid it all by His shed Blood.

Helen believes and receives. She receives the prophetic. He receives the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. She receives the prophetic reward. This message is her testimony . We overcome Satan by the word of our testimony and we love not our lives unto death.

God freely gives us good gifts that Jesus paid the price for through His death on the cross and shedding His blood. I encourage you to believe and receive as Helen did .
Receive. God is your Father. Receive his presents and his presence today.

Moment of Transparancy
Some 4 years ago this prodigal returned back to her Fathers house , truth be told i was broken !

I had this picture in my head of my life and it was like a shattered mirror , smashed and totally fragmented , my dreams and hopes shattered into a million pieces , so hurt and rejected , a daughter of the king who was living as a pauper ! After ten years and dressed in rags battered n torn I made my way back home..

My healing and recovery began, the great healer began to put the pieces of my life back together again . The word tells us that those that sow in tears shall reap in joy 🙌🏻 , that mourning lasts for a night but joy comes in the morning !

This morning I was given the most precious of gifts handmade by Angela McCauley 💕🙌🏻 I believe it to be prophetic 🙌🏻 a picture made from broken glass , the fragments all making the most beautiful picture of restoration . To me this is so perfect , It represents myself and my three sons , my wee family to me it promises healing , wholeness , for The Lord said he knows the plans he has for us and I like the kjv for this as it speaks of an expected end 💕

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end Jer 29:11
This wee picture represents all the brokenness , placed in his hands becomes a thing of beauty , halleluajh 💕🙌🏻

Jeremiah 30:17, ESV For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord

Isaiah 61:7, ESV Instead of your shame there shall be a double portion; instead of dishonor they shall rejoice in their lot; therefore in their land they shall possess a double portion; they shall have everlasting joy.

Jesus Healed my Broken Heart

Good morning friends across the nations.
How are you today?

It’s Valentine weekend. Songs of love are played on the radio. Desire and hope for love are stirred in our hearts. Love is in the air. Will I get a Valentine Card? Does someone secretly admire me?

I did have those teenage dreams. I did get a Valentine Card. My heart was stirred with love. I had met my husband Brendan the previous summer. He is still very romantic, kind, giving and forgiving.

Fifty three years on my heart is stirred with love. Brendan and I were celebrating with some of our family the birth of twin grand daughters to Ruth and Stuart. It’s been a roller coaster week. Thank you Nora and Colin for the lovely meal.

My girls were looking down memory lane. One remembered with tears being bullied by the vice principal of her school. Another was caught by another school’s vice principal smoking at break time. Stresses and joys of living in a big family were recalled with more tears and laughter.

It hasn’t been easy for Brendan and I to rear a big family and still be alive. My heart was broken many times; children leaving home, difficulty in my marriage or sickness. My children asked me “Do you remember that?” as they recall some difficult incident. I was busy rearing the next child or making dinner. I wasn’t aware of things going on behind the scenes.

My husband thought if I had HRT medication it would make it more easier for him to live with me. Despite our love for each other we did have our difficulties in our twenties, thirties and fourties. So HRT was not the solution then or now. Forgiveness and love sets the captive heart free.

No I dont have dementia either because I don’t recall difficult times. I told my daughter a story recently about walking down my street. We moved here one year ago. It was dusk and I glanced through a window where the blinds had not been drawn. It looked homely. I turned back. It was my house! My daughter wanted to bring me to the optician to get my eyes seen to and was worried about my mind.

As I drove back home last night the reality hit me. My heart is not broken any more. Jesus has healed my heart. He was with me in all my troubles and he delivered me out of them all. He has restored my body soul and spirit. He had caused me to live to see my children’s children.

The scripture in Isaiah 61 is true. He healed the broken hearts and binds up their wounds. He gives a garment of praise instead of despair.

For anyone of you today who has a broken heart because of disappointment, loss or sickness don’t despair. Jesus is acquainted with your grief. Bring your troubles to His cross. He will pour in His love and heal you and bless you.

“Keep right on to the end of the road, keep right on to the end. If you are tired and weary still journey on round the bend.” Lyrics by Harry Lauder.

Read The Scriptures

Good morning everyone,

Near or far, east or west, north or south, old or young, family or friend, fair or dark, native or immigrant, welcome to my page.

I want to share with you something I read this week from Matthew 22 in the Bible.

The Pharisees and Sadducees, the religious of the day tried to trick Jesus with their questions.

The multitude who heard him were astonished at his doctrine. So much so that no one asked him any more questions. Jesus silenced them.

One example stood out for me. They asked Jesus whose wife will a woman be in heaven who had married seven brothers on earth.

Jesus replied You are in error. You don’t know the scriptures or the power of God.

Are we all guilty of being in error? Do we read the scriptures regularly, even every day?

I cannot emphasise the importance of reading the scriptures. You will know the truth and the truth will set you free.

I started to read the Bible regularly forty two years ago. I was a housewife looking after my family. It is became bread for my soul. It is the Word of God. Who is the Word of God? Jesus is. He is present with me as I read.

After many years of reading the scriptures I believe and have seen the power of God. I was able to draw on the truth of God’s Word that by the stripes of Jesus I am healed when I had fourth stage cancer. I am free from cancer. I am sure of this promise that I now pray for people to be healed.

Start reading the Bible today. You will become wise and you will live and be renewed by the power of God.

A Flickering Flame

Isaiah said about the coming Messiah in 42 v 3

He will not crush the weakest reed or put out a flickering candle.

This scripture is mentioned again in Matthew 12 v 20.
There are many times one can feel despondent, sick, disappointed, hopeless and depressed. One may feel like the candle just burning so little it is about to go out.

Or one may have just received bad news that leaves one crushed. Or life has thrown difficulties at you that you feel overwhelmed. Perhaps you have a sickness that does not improve with medical help and you don’t know what to do. You feel like the crushed reed.

Take heart. You are a good candidate for Jesus to heal and restore. Matt 12 v 15 says that Jesus healed all the sick among them and delivered the demon possessed.

Call upon Jesus like the blind man who called to Jesus as he passed by. He knows how weak you feel. He will come to you and strengthen you and help your flame to burn again. He will turn around your fortunes. J

Jesus said he is the truth. He does not lie. He will help you and heal you. Jesus healed me many times when I was like that brushed reed or that flickering flame . I felt like giving up many times but Jesus lifted me up again. He is faithful. Hope again, put your trust In God.
