Encouragement

A friend recently was sharing about Adam and Eve. God took a bone out of Adam’s side. Then The Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man. Genesis 3 v 22. He said in the original Hebrew the word describing making the woman means encouragement. God created woman by speaking encouragement to the bone! There is creative power in God’s words.

Since last December I have been declaring words from Ezekiel 37, “These dry bones shall live.” Since then I have been praying for people who are in a dry place with no streams of living water flowing nearby. I pray for the Holy Spirit to come from the north, the south, the east and the west. The Holy Spirit will cause the people of God to rise up as an army, even though their situation is hopeless and all life has gone out of their bones. The Lord will breathe the breath of God into them, like he did to Adam in the beginning. Genesis 2 v 7 “Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.”

Just as my friend said we can speak life others, in other words, breathe life into them, that cause them to hope and live again. The scripture says “Encourage one another while it is yet day.”

It has been encouragement from others that have kept me alive. One friend kept telling me “You can do it”. A joyful greeting in the morning makes one feel happy and built up.

Keep in the company of others who are kind and uplifting. I speak life into you my readers this morning.

You shall live. You will have a good day. You will have favour. You shall have work you enjoy. You will prosper. You will have good friends. You will be in good health. You will have peace. Be still. You will have restored hope. You shall be happy. It shall be well with you. Amen.

  1. Lovely! Though it is evening, a day later as I read this, I am still encouraged. Of course I am. Words still hold their power. I will try to follow your example Angela & speak words of life out over people & situations.
Thank you for always being an inspiration!! Love from the west! 💕👌🏻💚
