Here are the views from the top of the hill above where I live in Ireland.
The photos were taken from the same spot.
This photo is taken to my left.
The small road is called a Boreen.
Not like the many laned motorways in other countries.
The Irish Sea and the Mourne Mountains are in the distance. Slieve Donard is the highest in the middle.
“Where the Mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea.”
My wife keeps telling me that we need to visit Ireland. I haven’t been resisting the suggestion.
Hi Wayne,
Thank you for visiting my blog.
You must come to Ireland. I hope my blogs give you a taste of this wee island across the pond.
Good food, scenery, history, presence of God, ancient ruins.
We may not have the hot weather but we have warm welcoming hearts.
Angela
I think we shall. Have a wonderful Easter.
So pretty 🙂 Love wide open lands. You live in a beautiful part of the world!
Angela, thank you for posting these. How beautiful a place is Co. Down!!!! I am very happy for you to be in such a beautiful situation. I am on the coast of California for the weekend, at Tim’s brother’s. A bit drier & less green than the Mournes with sea fog blocking the view. God’s beauty is distinct everywhere but yes, the Mournes are outstanding!!! Are you challenging yourself to post photos? I look forward to seeing them. Lots of love, on this Good Friday to you & all. Ãine xo
Nice shots Angela. Go neiri and bothar leat!
Hi, thanks for stopping by. Glad you liked a little bit of this fair green land. Angela
Nice to see. Living in a Middle East for last 5 years but thankfully get to see some Limerick greenery from time to time. Regards.
Mum, looks like a total haven. Beauty & rest amongst nature. How wonderful – can’t wait to visit.
Get on that Fly Be sooner than later. I see you have been doing catch up. Happy Easter! Love
I must have missed some of your wisdom Mum. Happy Easter to you too. Morning coffee then of to paint the garage.
Hi Ruth, loved your post this morning. Makes me want to see you soon. Love
