On Top of the Hill, an Irish Boreen. Weekly Photo Challenge

Here are the views from the top of the hill above where I live in Ireland.

The photos were taken from the same spot.

This photo is taken to my left.

The small road is called a Boreen.

Not like the many laned motorways in other countries.

The Irish Sea and the Mourne Mountains are in the distance.  Slieve Donard is the highest in the middle.

“Where the Mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea.”

  1. Angela, thank you for posting these. How beautiful a place is Co. Down!!!! I am very happy for you to be in such a beautiful situation. I am on the coast of California for the weekend, at Tim’s brother’s. A bit drier & less green than the Mournes with sea fog blocking the view. God’s beauty is distinct everywhere but yes, the Mournes are outstanding!!! Are you challenging yourself to post photos? I look forward to seeing them. Lots of love, on this Good Friday to you & all. Áine xo
